My name is Amanda I am married and my husband and I are both having gastric bypass. I had my surgery February 28th and he is having his on April 25th. I had lap band in 2008 and lost 100 pounds and it was a horrible experience. I had gallbladder removed then lap band in 2010 I gained 60 pounds of the 100 I had lost. I then went to Mexico in 2010 and had the sleeve and done. I lost about 40 pounds then again started gaining again. Then did phentermine and lost weight, then gained it all back plus some....see a trend here? So I talked my husband into going to see a surgeon for us both to look into gastric bypass which he said he would never go for and he changed his mind and here we are.
