Definitely. I like it best for cooking chicken. I season a whole chicken very will inside and out, put it on a bed of onion, garlic, carrots and celery in the crockpot, and set on low for 6 hours. Very tender and juicy.

I am fascinated by all these shows about addiction. The addict does everything that they always do, scream, fight, manipulate, deny, bargain, abuse, lie, cheat.. Etc. whatever they have to do to get the next fix. It's sad and frustrating to watch someone kill themselves. It's sad to watch the enablers continue to help them do it knowingly or otherwise. I love watching the shows because when someone is in that place and comes through it to the other side, it's truly a beautiful thing.

I have recently rededicated myself to working out every day. It is incredible how good my body feels even in the first few days! I'm lazy and would usually always have an excuse for not exercising, but let me tell you from the first day I dedicated myself to doing it I want to do it more and more. I love the confidence it gives me in how I move my body, and the sense of accomplishment I feel knowing I started the day ahead in my goals by putting that time to exercise in. Combined with following my recommended diet, I feel absolutely empowered in a way I have not felt before. For all those struggling, do your best to commit yourself to moving more and you will 100% be rewarded for your effort.

Walking for longer periods of time is so much less painful now. That is so what I really wanted. Baaic things like being able to walk or stand for a few hours are taken for granted way too easily.

We have a shower tub in our main bathroom. It's quite short. My tummy has never fit under the Water. Until today. Best day ever so far!

I make an easy "garbanzo bean salad" my Armenian Step-Dad taught me. Just take two cans of garbanzo beans, drain and rinse. Mash them with a fork. Add some finely chopped onion. I prefer a sweet purple onion or sweet Vidalia. Add salt and pepper to taste and lots of fresh lemon juice. Garnish with a few cherry or grape tomatoes and some black olives. Add a little sprig of parsley for presentation if serving to guests. Serve cold. My mom likes to add a little olive oil to hers but I just like the lemon juice. And I like a lot if it. Oh so yummy!

I've been baking banana Protein muffins lately and peddling them to my coworkers. For some reason I like baking even more now than before when I could eat it all.

Just wanted to share that I tried this one and it is awesome! Very smooth, great taste. It is a little on the sweet side at 4g sugar for a serving. It also has a Multivitamin, added calcium citrate, and 4g of Fiber.< /p>

I've been looking for warm weather clothes on clearance everywhere I go. There is just no way I'll be able to use anything I wore last summer! Today I bought three pairs of sz8 jeans, a bathing suit sz10, a medium sundress, and four sleeveless tops in small - all for less than $60! I'm feeling pretty damn happy about the bargains I found. And everything fits! I was just getting used to sz10 jeans and medium tops. I never dreamed I'd wear a sz8 and a small!!!! The medium sundress was Chaps - that brand seems to run small. :-)
I can't wait for the warm weather this year! This girl is going to wear comfortable, pretty clothes, sweat a whole lot less, and take evening swims at the beach! And hubby is going to have to take me somewhere nice when I wear that beautiful dress! :-)

Tried on a pair of jeans I haven't been able to wear in years (size 18 uk) was size 24 uk and they fit really well.... Then went on a bit of a country hike up a steep hill and round a huge lake and my husband commented he struggled to keep up with me and that I wasn't even out of breath!!! Last time we tried this walk I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Love feeling so much fitter and trimmer :-)

I had rny, but our dietary requirements are similar enough I think I can help.
Avocado: Yes, you can totally have this. However, you will only be able to and rightly shouls only have a couple teaspoons full. There's just not much room in the new tummy if you're getting enough Protein in the meal. Avocado can sit a little heavy, too. For me at least.
Sweet potatoes: You can haz, but again only a couple teaspoons. Same reasons as above. Again, protein first.
Coconut Oil/Olive Oil: Yes. I use both, no problem. However, I cut down all oil called for in recipes to half what is called for (unless baking). Fat is still high calorie, even healthy fat.
Agave: The raw variety is better for you, and yes you can have it in very moderate amounts. I go with the rule of half what I would have used before, and also try to keep it as a treat. So I make tea with milk every morning, but I only allow myself sweetener in it on the weekends.
Spicey: Yes. I asked my nutritionist about this and they said it was fine. And thank goodness because I am a chili head big time! I actually like food even spicier than I did before. We eat a lot of Indian food at home and it just wouldn't be the same without it.
All that said, keep in mind that you either may not like some of this stuff or may have your own intolerances to stuff after surgery. Can you have all these things? Yes. Will you want to? Maybe not. Be prepared for drastic changes in what you like to eat and your food habits.
