Briefly, most of my life I have always been skinny (thin). Yup "Skinny Lynny"... I loved being thin. I loved everything that comes with thin! However, sometime after my 3 amazing children, a divorce, depression and whatever else... somewhere... I began gaining weight, over the past decade..

O.k. maybe it's been longer! I got to this point! My highest weight ever! 254 lbs

I've tried every diet that you could think of... and I could probably share some with you! I've had Dr. supervised diets, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Cabbage Diet, Atkins Diet, Beach something diet, etc. you name it, I probably tried it.

I would lose some weight and then somehow... regain and regain more weight back!

I did get to a point 4 years ago when I began thinking about weight loss surgery. My health was failing, I couldn't fit in the tub to take a bath, tie my shoes, etc.

When I finally decided to have Weight Loss Surgery, I didn't want anyone to know. Maybe I was embarrassed, or didn't want to face the uneducated critism. I woke up one day to realize that there are other people who feel exactly like me!

It was time to shout from the roof tops that I am proud! So, I started a blog [url="http://www.lynnsobsession.com"]www.lynnsobsession.com[/url] and joined several forums to be in contact with other people just like me. I'm going to face this! And, share this experience... my life.

Again, with the health complications that come with being overweight [i]and almost losing my life several months ago[/i] (5/2013) - that experience confirmed, I am making definately making the right decision! I'm proud to be taking control of my life. I know this is the right decision for me.
