I start my diet on Monday! I'm kind of glad I get this one last big meal and then I start fresh for the new year..good luck to all who is on their diet. Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Erin you are lucky! Only the night before should be a breeze. Betsy yours does sound harder than mine. I don't think I could do only liquids. I'm glad I get to have some small amounts of something each day. I'm sure after surgery we won't even want anything to eat. I can't wait for that day!

Hey guys! I'm scheduled for January 13th! I know exactly how you feel. It seems so far away but less than a month to go. I'm just so ready to go. Time seems like its dragging by. I also can't wait to be able to go into a store and try on clothes. I haven't done that in about 10 years! So ready to get this show on the road!! Good luck with your day! One more thing whats your pre op diets like? And how many days? Mine is two weeks two shakes a day with 3/4 cup of vegetables, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, three fruits. Not to bad ...

I think I feel the same way. Nervous but super excited! And thanks loosing weight definintly is not easy. Especially when you are used to eat a certain way for your entire life. But we got this! I'm praying for both of us to be complication free and a speedy recovery! -

Congrats on your date! I'm still pre op so I can't help you with the post op questions. my date is January 13th. And also congrats on your weight loss so far. I started at 484 and I'm down to 437. -

Hello all! I am scheduled for January 13th! I am excited but also kind of nervous. I'm scared about being put under. What is everyone's pre op diet? Well if you have one. Lol I have two weeks of two shakes a day, 3/4cup of vegetables, a half of cup of cottage cheese and two to three pieces of fruit. It's actually not that bad. I can eat something. My friend just had her two weeks and she had nothing but shakes. Good luck everyone our time is near!! -

Congrats on your date! Mine is january13th!! It does feel like time is moving so slow now that I have a date..it's still 37days away. I have two whole weeks of pre op diet. I have 23days till that's starts.

I had my pre op class last Wednesday. Now all that's left is the pre op testing. I will start that in a few weeks. If I am cleared then my surgery will be January 13th!! Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly!

I found this today at Walmart. I'm wondering if after surgery could I eat it? Has any one post op tried it before? It says sugar free. 0 grams sears mirror.bmp

Congrats on your date! Mine is January 13th! So we are 4 days apart!! I am pretty much just trying to learn as much as I can about what to drink the two weeks after surgery. I will be on liquids and I have been just asking around to see what everyone else drank or at least tried. I also have made a list of what to pack to bring with me to the hospital. I'm in a great group on Facebook and they are very informative. I've got a little notebook and have been writing things down. -

Oh man that sucks! Why didn't they make that appointment for you? My nut and nurse stays on top of all my appointments and then calls me to remind me about them. Sorry this has happened to you! Great job on the 11 pounds! Don't be hard on your self you were dealing with a lot of other things...
