I went shopping today. I didn't make it long before I felt exhausted. It's such a bummer because I had just built myself up to doing 2 miles a day in 35 minutes!

On a positive I feel more like myself today. I still have pain but it's bearable. I am struggling with head hunger and physical. When I am alone I don't think about it but if someone is eating, I really wish I could have a taste. So I think it's head hunger. But I am so sick of Clear liquids so many it is physical hunger. Hopefully Friday he says I can move to full liquids. I found this two inspirational quotes today and think they are appropriate for me today..... "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'M POSSIBLE!!!" "No one said it was going to be easy, but it will definitely be worth it"

hmmm, i think i had enough excitement for the last 6 days! LOL

Hi!! Things are getting better each day. Right now I am battling constipation. And gas pain in my shoulder. The doctor told me that the shoulder pain is also related to the hiatal hernia repair they did. One thing that concerns me, I weighed myself this morning and I am the same as I was the day of the surgery. Is that normal?? Thanks!!

I feel like I am struggling with understanding the signs I am getting from my body.

I can. I just am so done with it. I have been on the clear only for a week. And the for almost 3 weeks before that on the pre op.

I am on clear liquids until Friday at the earliest. I just want something other than broth and jello. I would love a yogurt.

I am doing good with liquids. But i have so many new feelings/sensations i don't know how to read them. Is anyone still on phase one liquids? Anyone have a hiatal hernia repair during surgery?

I do feel like I have to burp allot. Some times I can and other it seems to settle in my shoulder.

Hi!! Surgery was Tuesday and they released me last night. I really wish i was still in there. I felt so much better. I had a horrible night last night and so far my morning is not much better. This liquid tylenol is making me sick. I cant' get it down or keep it down. I feel so miserable today. ;(

That's what I hear too. I keep thinking this is just a bump on the journey. It will all be with it in the end.
