Just don't beat yourself up if you happen to cheat... Don't cheat during last 3-4 days though, it can jeopardize the outcome of the surgery... Or surgery itself. Mourning has its stages (denial, anger etc ) and you will likely go through this process during next 10 days. Good luck and do your best!!!

Helicobacter pylori, this is bacteria that is believed to cause all bunch of stomach problems, including ulcers, but people can have it and never experience any symptoms. I brought home tests from Europe, so I don't have to ask the doctor for it, but I'm not sure if they are available to purchase in the US.

I think I never saw ice cream in the store with more than 1-2 grams of protein, but there's a chance you will not be craving sweet treats that much post op. I know I don't. Some foods I eat now don't have high count of protein, like cracker I have with tuna or piece of melon for dessert. I think main problem with ice cream is the consistency, you don't feel full after having it but your body still consumes the calories from carbs

Oh my gosh, my box just arrived! Vicki went sooo beyond my expectations, I had to take picture and post! I got meal kit to take lunch and snacks to work, two very age appropriate coloring books for my twins, some chocolatey goodies, Starbucks gift card and the best thing of all things, she took time to paint for us a picture, gift bag and a card! I love homemade stuff and these are my favorite colors as well! Thank you Vicki, dear I really appreciate the gift! You are awesome and talented!

Yeah, I know they are normal, but it makes me so angry that I stall for a third time in 2 months. My surgery was on 8/12 and I barely lost 40lbs since then.. I saw people here losing 90... Ugh, ROAR!

I think yesterday I finally went through the day without thinking about smoking. It has been 2 months I'm non smoker... Its tough first two weeks, then it gets better. Good luck to all of you!

voltaren is used for treating local joint pains, not for the headaches though. You can get it OTC in most pharmacies. It is also named diclofenac, I think.

My approval took 10 business days, so 2 weeks.. I had different insurance, but friend with Cigna was waiting 2 weeks as well.
