uhhhh!!! I have horrible gas pains every night. I can burp at least 17 times in a row without even taking a breath. Anyone else have the same gas pain? I remember celery was on the do not eat list, and I did have celery the night it started back up, I just can't tell if that was it.

I was banded at 22, I'm 25 now

I'm like a colicky baby! every day from 4pm-11pm I have horrible gas pain followed by uncontrollable burping....Sometimes it even hurts to lay down. I've had this pain for the last 2 months. The burping is loud and kinda in the back of my throat. It drives my husband crazy and sometimes it takes me about an hour to fall asleep. anyone having the same thing happen? any Ideas of what I can do? I've tried gas x and tums...NOTHING!!! Help me!

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr.Galvani. He has really good bedside manners and I love him. I got banded at UIC by him. I've had 3 fills and 1 complete unfill at UIC and am now transfering to DayONe. The last dr who filled me was not Galvani and he filled me way to tight, I couldn't even keep my saliva down. Dr. Galvani's wife unfilled me. She was nice too, but man that hurt. THey have very different ways of doing fills. hopefully everything goes well at Day One. I would hate to have to look for another office. Galvani is the Best!!

I was on depo before I got banded for about a year. I got off, but I hated my periods, so i've been back on for 2 series of shots and I gained 9lbs since i've been on it. I noticed after the first shot I wasn't loosing anymore weight either. So i'm waiting for this second shot to wear off...Hopefully I'll be able to concieve in about 6-9 months. I know It takes a while to get it out of your system, and start ovulating again. But i'm pretty sure u cant loose because of the depo, unless its time for a fill. Good Luck

I dont feel any different around friends. I'm very social and drink beer often. I'm sure if I didn't drink beer I would lose more weight.

I pb when I eat to fast. At first everything made me spit up...Now I chew slower and try not to drink anything. Drinking makes it worse for me. I hope this is normal.

The first 2 were pre-op the last one was last week on a trip to Ohio...

Dont let anything or anyone discourage you. WLS has helped many of us live better. Keep in mind its only a tool that can help you. You still have to make healthy food choices. good luck!
