Really struggling after almost 2 years post op, need emotional support

I heard that you have to go back and "reset" your pouch .. learn to feel it again and drink the 70 oz of water a day.. don't drink an hour before and an hour after.. I came across an interesting article http://www.obesitycoverage.com/the-pouch-reset-losing-weight-after-weight-regain/ -
I also had a question for everyone... As weight-loss continues, has anyone experienced there knees hurting when putting them together while laying down, or walking, there tailbone hurting when sitting. numbness and tingling in arms or legs randomly. varicose veins that hurt, in legs and get swollen. pain in body especially legs, and arms when cold. when I'm stalled none of this happens, now that I'm past that its starting all over again!

Hello everyone.. Been a while and wanted to touch base Hello everyone.. Just thought I would touch base and update everyone on how my wife and I are doing after 15 months since surgery.. haven't been on here in a while, and could use some feedback.. Well let's start with my wife, for those of you who aren't familiar with us, we both had our surgery on the same day. August 19, 2013, and She got her goal pretty fast, and actually became under weight over the summer, and is now working on putting a few pounds back on. she is 5'5 and got down to 125 lb.. she had since put on about 6 pounds, and what a difference that made.. She is doing great other than that.. I on the other hand have become dehydrated over the last few months, and had to go in for hydration therapy for 8 weeks, once a week 8 hours each time of iv fluids, and Vitamins... It wasn't so bad at first, but then quickly became a headache. Now I'm doing good, and pushing fluids much better now.. Fluids do really become your lifeline! Also I came to a major stall for about 3 months, and wasn't losing any weight at all, and it became very depressing and frustrating. My weight at the time of surgery was 320, and I hit a stall at 180. 2 weeks ago I saw my surgeon, and she prescribed me phentramine (a weight loss drug). Never in a million years did I ever think that after weight loss surgery, I would have to take a weight loss drug lol... Especially having the Roux - En- Y procedure.. Well after 2 weeks of being on this medication I went from 180, to 169, and since then my surgeon has increased the dose from 15mg to 30mg.. my goal is to get down to 135 lb. I haven't had any issues other than dehydration, and stalling. I can pretty much eat anything, nothing has disagreed with me except for milk, and Ice cream.. NOT milk products, just the actual milk and ice cream.. I tolerate lactose free milk, and milk products, just for some reason throw up when I actually drink regular milk.. I seem to tolerate any and everything else.. one thing I have noticed with myself is that as I loose weight, my center of gravity shifts, and It becomes very painful. My tailbone hurts when I sit, my butt goes numb, when sitting on the toilet, my legs and feet go numb.. I'm never cold like most people, I'm still always hot and sweaty lol.. My joints hurt more, and my legs become more restless when I'm sleeping.. This all seems to come when I begin to start loosing weight again.. It's so odd yet annoying.. currently I'm wearing size 8/10 jeans, size medium stretch pants, small/medium pajamas, yet my shirts are still size large mainy due to my bust, and my arms from the excess skin.. During this entire experience, I wasn't one of those people whose energy sky rocketed.. Actually I never got any extra energy at all.. I have never taken so many selfies in my entire life, self esteem Def went up, yet I hate what I see when I'm naked.. I haven't experienced any rashes that I hear can happen, except on occasion my belly button will get red and sore but nothing a little cream doesn't take care of.. so I'm wondering, is there anyone out there have any experiences like mine?? I lead a very different path with this surgery than my wife so I'm feeling kind of alone lol.. Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey August group... It's been 9 months since surgery.. I am down 133 pounds, ND have been stalled at 189 for about 2 months... The main reason is, because I can't exercise currently.. I'm due to see a vascular specialist because my veins stretched so much being so large, and loosing the weight so rapidly they never went back to their original shape. So I have ugly varicose veins in my upper and lower legs, and not only that but there causing circulation issues, and I move my legs all night long due to the constant pain I'm in from them.. They go numb often, and taking a hot bath... Forget it! The heat makes them even worst.. Right now I am being made to wear compression Stockings to help with the circulation, and eventually I am going to need the veins stripped.. Whatever that means lol. I feel great, I haven't gotten a whole lot of energy just yet.. I feel like the same ole me.. However I'm not out of breath doing simple things like I use to.. I still feel tired Alot though, and haven't found anything that super excites me.. I am more in tune with my body now.. I know when I need to up my fluids, and I can't ever miss a dose of b12, cause when I do, the next day is completely awful.. I feel extremely sick.. My levels are great with blood work.. There's nothing I can't eat except milk.. Everything agrees so far, so good. I can do maybe 1/2 cup total of food, depending on the density... I can do 1 egg and a half slice of toast.. 1 Taco, 1/2 lean cuisine Panini... Examples... I drink a lot of Water, or propel zero... Everything else is too sweet... I also drink Alot of coffee.. So bad I know lol... I'm in a size 10 pants, and a large shirt.. Never thought I'd borrow my daughters clothes lol.. I attached new photos... Oh my hair stopped falling out as well! Biotin 10,000 mcg definitely made a difference!!! How is everyone doing??

I am down 126 pounds since surgery.. I'm holding at 194, but it's been that for 6 weeks now.. I can eat anything except tuna, and tacos.. My wife is at 149.. She's done and looks amazing! She is down 98 pounds.. Mentally I'm sick of looking at the access skin.. It's making me depressed.. I'm in a size 12 now and you would think going from a 26 to a 12 I would be happy but I'm not there yet.. I don't even have a lot of energy yet.. I'm struggling with eating 3 meals a day too.. I'm only eating dinner ughh

Hey everyone.. well for my wife and I, it has been almost 5 months since surgery. I am down 102 lb and my wife is down 85 lb.. she has hit the 67% and I'm 54% our surgeon is amazed at our progress.. When you hit 75% you have Reached the surgery success rate.. not your ideal weight but the fact that surgery was successful. Most don't hit that till 18 months out. I'm posting pics hopefully they go through. Lol. We're able to eat most anything. Except tuna, eggs, and milk. Boiled egg in salad seems to be ok. Other than that our lab work has been ok except iron. So we are taking ferrous fumarate now.. other than that everything else is great. Oh we have also added biotin because we are def starting to loose our hair.. that is a bit disappointing but hey its the risk you take I guess. Hope everyone is doing great. Before and after photos

I have been doing great.. I went from 317 to 238.. so I guess I would say that I'm down 79 pounds.. exercise is coming along. We just got an 8 month old puppy so she helps with that walking for sure.. need to start toning.. clothes are super big on me, and my shirts are just hanging off of me.. I feel great though.. Every morning I make sure I get down a 20 oz bottle of water before breakfast, then do the same right before lunch and dinner, that way I know I have all my fluids in... I always eat my protein first so that if I get full I at least know my protein is in... my wife went from 247 to 185.. She's finally in wonderland.. She looks great!! The only foods we can not tolerate is Tuna and milk so far... I sure do miss my milk and cereal... no problems getting our vitamins in... for our calcium we found the chewables were much better. I'm trying to add before and after pic but it's not letting me... Oh btw I am so confused with this new sight. I miss the old one

Hi ya'll, My surgery was August 19th, and Today I am 10 weeks out. Currently I am down 70 pounds! It's so surreal! I haven't gotten anymore energy than before yet, and I have only dumped once trying to drink milk (even after taking a Lactaid chew) It was horrible! I need to find a milk that taste similar to real milk! Almond and soy I totally hate! So aside from feeling great, eating well, and swimming in all my clothes lol, I wanted to know if anyone has tried hot cocoa?? If so what was the outcome and what kind did you use.. Approaching winter time it's one of those things I love when I'm cold and curious if we can handle it.. I have drank nothing but water since the day of surgery and my pallet is craving something else so bad. please let me know. thanks so much

I don't have a secret lol. I haven't even started exercising yet. One thing after another has been going on. Moved, painting the entire house, and taking care of a special needs daughter. Trying to find time to get to the gym. In time it will come! I make sure I eat Protein first. So dinner I will eat just the meat. Sometimes a vegetable with it, but not usually. I can only eat about 1/4 cup at a time though. I make a really hearty chili with lots of Beans and onions, peppers, mushrooms, N corn. Beans are high in protein. I made a roast and just ate the meat, the left overs my wife and i made wraps out if it. We can eat 6 medium shrimp, fish, or grilled chicken. Well have grilled chicken salad sometimes, or chicken quesadilla. We a lot of chicken or shrimp. Breakfast we'll have a half bagel or a banana, I have done Peanut Butter, tolerated that well. We do wraps for lunch. We also do a lot of stir fry. The key we have learned is baby bites and to eat slow and chew food extremely well and not to eat more than 20 min. I don't do Protein Powder, never have. I keep up on 64 ounces of Water a day and never drink 30 min before meals or an hour after meals! My wife has lost almost 55 pounds. That's really all I can think of. Don't be discouraged, it will come!

Actually I think you were across the hall from us! Did you have a double room but no one was in the other bed and your bed near the window? last room on the right?
