    Take a look at your cupboards some time soon it should make you smile. All of the labels on my shelves read Organic, fat free, sugar free. low sodium, High fiber. whole grain......... love this! Considering a little over a year ago it was cheese Steaks, cheese fries, pizza ( Love me some pizza) Nachos. Entemans rasberry danish...... I Love having my life back and dont miss the bad food. just needed to say that

    Im not sure if i mentioned this before but if i didnt i have been remise. 2 words- Savory oatmeal Look up the recipes!!! Seriously its way healthy and a great quick meal you can cook at the beginning of the week. Oatmeal is no longer just for Breakfast. here is the one i have done twice and been very very hapy with Irish steel cut oatmeal onions whole cut mushrooms soy based bacon bits olive oil low sodium soy sage rosemary garlic salt to taste ( least bit possible) pepper Cook oatmeal seperate and use a butt load of onions and mushrooms saute the mess together and add to oatmeal as the last step. You can cut up chicken fish or turkey into it. i like mine cold but you can work out the serving temp on your own Look up other recipies they are wide and vast. next week im doing an asian oatmeal and following that a middle eastern one. low cal, low fat,full of Fiber and filling..with chicken or fish you get the added protien Peace out skinny people

    Monica...Rediscovery of bikes is amazing!!!!! i was out early and its like im 10 again. baseball card in the spokes may be next. Im so psyched for you getting one. make sure you have it set up for your height and leg stroke. a bike shop will hook you up for free if you buy it from them otherwise its approx $15. let me know how things work out on the vacation. have a great night

    Congrats on the step goal. i see your stats and im amazed. with my schedule change im having an issue during the weeek getting more than 3 miles in daily. the fit bit dosnt register biking well ive noticed. How do you like the turbo kick?

    Ok 1. Cross Fit class was AWESOME. here are some of the things i did for the first time in years 1. 100 yard wind sprints. 2. 100 lb. dead lifts 3. massive amount of push ups 4. massive amount of rowing. The classes are team based and after the warmup portion of the class we broke up into teams of three and competed to accomplish a predetermined schedule of events and accomplish them via a circut in 25 minutes? i am very sore tonight and ache in every muscle in body but feel awesome. Cross fit, i was VERY pleased to discover is team/ goal and health of mind and body oriented program the only thing i have to work out is a schedule since its runs on a class schedule. but this will happen Did i mention how sore i am...lol Congratulations to all of us for running, wogging,bikeing our way to a healthy happy life that we all so richly deserve. We ROCK!!!!! And to quote Freddy Mercury " we are the champions.....of the world" peace to all of you, my friends RJ

    Going to my first Cross Fit work out today..... i expect pain :-) Saturday morning and im going to a do a workout...... who am i? One year ago if you told me i would be psyched & pumped to do this, i would have thought you crazy. good things are happening here.

    i think for the miminal outlay of capital your rear ends happiness comes first. i look at it this way if bm rear hurts every time i ride for 30 days the odds of just pitching the bike thing increases. i ride every weekend and it has changed the overall experience for me. but this works for me. i know this bike is for the triathelon but will you be using it for pleasure rides or serious sweat making workouts? i use mine for trail rides and getting about town...... lets put it this way NO WAY am i putting on lycra

    Mel, a suggestion i strongly recommend a comfy seat for the bike. i purchaseed a C9 cloud gel filled seat off of amazon paid approx 25 for it and my backside has been very happy with the upgrade. its a huge improvement over the nazi researched and inspired european hiney torture device mine came equipped with..... ill send you the link

    Hello Monica. Loved your posts today. You are correct we all have found a balance that works for us. i know myself and a stricter program works for me. i have a " mild" ???? case of ocd so the rny strict life style work best for me. As you and others have stated the results are what matters. i think the starting weight has to be factored in i know my goal weight is a considerable loss ( 270 lbs) that is the reason im obsessive about my program.
