Hey now! Been away for the past couple of days at the Bloomsburg co. state fair here in PA. Had my 3 month post op on friday all is well and down 128 lbs total. Doc surg is very happy with my progress. While at the fair was able to keep up with two 16 year old teenagers all day. did 11 miles of walking. Have a great day. catch ya later RJ

I do the same thing except mine is ice coffee,dont say a word to my surgeon :-) my nut says im ok as long as i dont drink it any near my iron tablet, have had no problems with straws. i use it to get the liquid to my mouth but will not drink the fluid while i have the straw in my mouth....yea im a freak go ahead and think it :-)

Mel i am taking biotin....good suggestion, ill ask my surgeon Friday morning. RJ

Here is a weird thing i noticed this week. you Ladies out there may not be able to identify with this, but here we go anyway :-) in the past 30 years i have shaved my face every third day and never had any problems. i chalked it up to my irish heritage and fair skin etc. i was apparently wrong! the hair must have not been long enough to get through all of the fat layers...lol. i now have to shave every day and decided to grow a full beard ( trimmed neatly) for the winter. im kinda of psyched about this shaving thing...just sayin Have a great day. Just met with my nut official weight in im down 125 lbs since oct 2012 ....today is a good day!

I found that the LUNA brand lemon zest ones are great and the numbers work. granted they are " designed" for women (what ever that marketing ploy means) but they are the only line that seem to be geared more towards rny patients. they are actually a Cliff product. and tase great. i stick with the lemon zest because im not a big fan of chocolate. RJ

Rhyzell, I feel your pain, not sure how it is were you live but bagels are a way of life here in Philly. I miss my everthing bagel with with sun dried tomato cream cheese. At least i have fond memories :-) have a great weekend RJ Ps the tough part is they are always at arms reach in the office. that and fresh baked soft pretzels....my offoce team LOVES to nosh.
