How about some NSVs!?!?

For the first time in about 22 years, I weigh less than my husband!! I think that made me happier than onederland!!! I was giddy. -

Went for my 4 month appointment today. I'm actually 4 1/2 mos. out. I've lost 68 lbs. Feeling really good about that. I have about 50-55 lbs. to go. Got confirmation of a hernia. I really didn't have any doubt. They hope to wait until next summer, when I'm a year out, to surgically repair. Hoping I can wait it out w/o problem. If it becomes painful it may require emergency surgery. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Congrats!! It's a great feeling. I was there a week ago, but went up this week due to constipation. Really sucked. Back down today. Weighed in at my doctors at 197.5 with clothes on!! Yay for onederland!!

Barq's diet cream soda is excellent, but it's hard to find. We don't have it here in Indianapolis, but they do in Cincinnati. -

Okay, I hit onederland today. I was very excited and texted my husband with the news since he was at work already. I've told a fair amount of people about my surgery and my husband had permission from me to tell his co-workers about it. He did not, however, have permission to tell them about onederland. In my opinion that was very personal. I don't particularly want his co-workers to know my starting or current weight. Well, he was "proud" and shared the news. I feel guilty being upset because I know he had good intentions, but I am upset.

My 48th birthday is Saturday and the scale has been toying with me all week. Well, today our fidgety scale weighed me at 198.5 twice and 199 once. I think I can officially say I'm in onederland!!! WooHoo!!!

There are diet versions of Ocean Spray. I think they have 5 calories/cup. I like the cran-cherry. -

I'm so sorry this didn't turn out the way you had hoped. I know it's beyond difficult, but you'll get through it. I think there's a really strong chance that your body will be more ready in a few months. Try to think positively. I really think your new lifestyle will make this happen eventually. Hang in there. -

In the past when I took a bath and drained the water there would still be water behind me when I stood up because my body acted like a dam. Today I stood up and all the water had already drained out!! My body is no longer as wide as our tub!!! WooHoo!! -

Praying for you. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I have miscarried and I've faced infertility, so I know how hard it is. Keep us posted. We care. -
How many if you have had lab work done? My surgeon doesn't do it until sometime after 6 months. Don't recall when, but thinking it might be a year. Seems too long to wait. Want to make sure my vitamin levels are good. My GP denied my request for labs.

Ugh...I had almost half of a Spud Ole from McAlisters. Surprised I ate as much as I did. Should have weighed it. Realized too late that it was over 400 calories. My calorie count for the day is just over 1,000, which is about 300 more than usual. Won't be doing that again anytime soon. -
I'm three months out and I have not had blood work done yet. My surgeon doesn't do it for quite a while still. I think she said 6 mos. or 9 mos. I'm not comfortable waiting that long, but my regular doctor said I needed to go through my surgeon. What is generally recommended? I'm off all my pre-op meds and I want to make sure things are okay. I also want to make sure vitamin levels are good. I know my blood pressure is good and I did a finger prick test for blood sugar, which was also good. I was never technically diabetic. My levels were just creeping up. Thoughts and advice?
