I just started my pre-op diet yesterday. I am super hungry...but guess that is to be expected. We can have 3 protein shakes/day, 2 protein bars/day and one very small meal w/ 6oz protein, 2 c. raw veggies or 1c cooked veggies, 1tsp of oil/butter and 1/2 c starch - total of 1115 calories. The only think keeping me motivated is that the more I stick to it, the easier it will be for the doc to do the surgery. Really want it to be as easy as possible for him so there are no mistakes. It's rough. I can relate to you and you have been doing it longer.
