    Surgery next week Mixed emotions

Whoo! You're already doing great on 16 pounds lost! I personally feel that of you don't question this decision just a little bit then you haven't thought it through enough if that makes sense. It's just big decision. You're on the right track!

    Sugar?

For my pre op diet I wasn't restricted to any types of sugar. Post op all I can have is under 10g based on nutrition labels.

    September Post Ops

I'm home now thank god! I swear I feel so much better than I did before. Tummy is still sore of course. That constantly full feeling is subsiding so I'm doing water. Taking my meds walking and attempting to get the water in.
  9. Just took Gas-X to help mine along!
  10. I just asked the surgeon again and he said I can focus on water and we'll worry about portion next week when I come in. They. Just wanted to see if I could stomach it. Tell me now geez after i stressed myself lol It is so weird how different every surgeon is. Wonder why mine where so high up then?!
  11. Here are mine. Kind of like a v
  12. I keep asking them, which do you want damn it?! It's basically impossible right now for me to get 64oz of water and 80 grams of protein in. I'm walking great and I'm finally starting to not feel so full.
  13. I've thrown up twice and it's not fun at all. Hurts like a bitch. They keep telling me to "listen to the pouch" and not to push it.

    September Post Ops!

That's awesome! In doing good with walking! It's the whole fluids thing that have me down. Once this full feeling goes away hopefully I'll do better. Surgery was Monday morning, still at the hospital. Hopefully I'll get released today
  15. I've had a BM. My surgeon told me he'd let me go home if I farted and literally 10 minutes later I thought I had to fart but it was more LOL (TMI). Now they have to see if I'm tolerating the liquids but I'm hoping they let me go. I'm getting frustrated.
  16. How do you guys get water down when you feel so full??
  17. Not doing too hot. My pouch is too swollen. Not keeping water down. Back to IV fluids
  18. I just finished my 3rd walk, she let me go by myself. It does help with gas if you have some. I feel like I'm about to burp but it won't come up lol. They told me to let them know when I pass gas (tmi) and my catheter is getting taken out in 30 minutes
  19. Paige mine went well too. Had no hernia. Only Pains are the incision sites and obvious tenderness inside

Hi friends! I'm officially on the loser's bench!!!! The pain isn't too terrible but they haven't gotten me up to walk yet. Trying to get my breaths into the spirometer! No fluids by mouth yet until my swallow study. Dry mouth lol. But glad to be here! Thank you all
