My butt literally hurts almost all the time. What makes me most nervous is the I still have about 50lbs to lose, but I can easily feel my lower spine and butt bones protruding now, if I lose anymore weight from my arse I may need to find padded butt undies or something. The pain is intense. As for the freezing part…oh my. I have a heated blanket on my bed that I normally sleep with on high at night, a heated blanket for my spot on the couch, a space heater, my heat set to 70 in the house (last year.58), and when in my car the heated seat and steering wheel are always on, and the heat is blasting out. It is a different type of cold, like to the bone, and hard to alleviate. I wish I drank coffee to help me warm up, and since surgery I hate tea.

Another good song to run to is "I can transform ya" by Chris Brown.

Lol, just so your pouch made sure you knew it didn't like leftover pot roast! -
Yeah, I found nothing to support biotin either. I figured there were enough stories from users though to make it worth taking.

Ever feel like you'll never get there?
GG'sArtsMom replied to GG'sArtsMom's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Ha! Good point- I have lost ~83 lbs in 5 months, so yeah, if I kept that up I wouldn't be looking so hot! I also feel like I have been the same size forever, but thinking about it, I was a solid 22 a month ago, and now am an 18. The tops are slowing down, but initially I lost very quickly in that department. I guess I just needed to hear from others that have been there/done that (or are doing it) that this is normal, and that I probably will get there. If not, it certainly is not from lack of effort. I also think that there is a huge difference between a lane bryant xl and an xl from normal stores, which makes me feel worse, but shouldn't, I know. -

Thank you! I know common sense dictates I will be successful since I have been so far, but it can be so hard to live in the moment! -
Let me preface this by saying I have had great success so far and am quite happy with my progress. In no way do I feel like a slow loser. But... I also keep wondering if I will really ever lose all this weight? My stomach (mainly the lower part) is barely going down in size, which makes me wonder if maybe I will have this big lower stomach forever and maybe never get smaller than an 18 or 16 in jeans? I wear an xl-xxl shirt depending on the maker, but can't help but think this is it, though I need to lose about 60 more pounds. So, to those who have been there- are these thoughts normal? Did anyone wonder if they would never get there, but did? Does anyone else feel like this? Surgery- 5/1/13 5'10 HW: 339 DOS:320 CW 237 (as of 10/1) GW 180

I am 5.5 months out and haven't had excess hair loss. The only time I have more loss than normal is the week before my period, even then it's not horrible. I think I am still in the window to possibly lose but am hoping I am one of the lucky ones that doesn't.

Always work hard to never let him say "told you so". Let those words drive you when you slip off course. Not to doubt your friends since I don't know you, but I would be skeptical of a friend that said that to me.

Thanks! Feeling pretty good. You're doing awesome yourself!

I had surgery 5/1/13, currently down 83lbs (102 total), and can run 4 miles without stopping. I feel awesome!

Slower weight loss after revision?
GG'sArtsMom replied to anappleaday's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Thanks, but I started at a much higher weight, DOS was 320, so I think we aren't much different, not that I care or compare myself anyways. I think you're doing great and was so excited when you got under 200lbs, thats all I really care about, that 1! I am tall (5'10) and will look just fine once I get into the high 1's on the scale. 37lbs to go! I will say I exercise hard, and whether it has helped or not, well there is no way to tell, but it feels great.
