I am so excited for June 14th it's not even funny! It also happens to be my moms birthday that day so she is a nervous wreck about this! I'm just ready for it to be here!!!! I start my liquid diet June 7th for one week!!

Congrats!!!! My surgery is June 14th and then I'm going on a cruise November 1st as my gift to myself!!!

The biggest thing I'm hoping to get out of this surgery is 100% health! My family has a lot of health problems from vein over weight I want to be healthy, I have 3 kids and want to be around for their kids! I want to not feel like an ogre standing next to my husband! I want my pcos to go away and give me my fertility back!!

Good list for the hospital!!!!! My only concern is our bed is about 4.5 feet off the ground so when I come home ill be couch bound for a few days

I have 3 children an have an Jon home day care. My husband is active duty army and I have been a stress case about the what ifs after surgery. My surgery date is June 14th. Luckily my sister lives with me to help out on her days off work. I will be making 2 weeks of dinners frozen in the freezer. My husband does the cleaning except dishes and my twin 11 year olds do the laundry. So I'm hoping that between me making their dinners and my 8 daycare kids and my 3 kids things will go smoothly. I can't afford to take 2 weeks off from my job so I'm going to have to tough it out with my husbands help.

That's what I though as u had done all my testing and classes 2 years ago and they required me to quit I ended up not getting WLS then because my husband deployed to Afghanistan and we lived in Alaska and I had no help with our kids. So here it is 2 years later and I'm redoing everything and my dr says smoking is not an issue.

Awesome! Mine is June 14th!

For some people the pulmonary test is easy, for others difficult. I actually failed my pulmonary and had to see a specialist to get cleared for surgery. It all depends on your lung ability I would suggest if your a smoker to not smoke the week before or us an I hailer.

When is your surgery date???

My doctor only puts us on a one week liquid diet before surgery... I'm kinda worried that's not enough time.!!
