How Did You Find Out About RNYTalk.com?
YoColeFleet replied to Alex Brecher's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My bariatric coordinator gave me a list of resources and RNY was included. -
I usually have tuna, lunch meat, subway, or protein shake.
-
It has been 13 weeks since my RNY, I'm down 54 lbs in total, I am 41 lbs away from MY goal weight, not the doctor but my very own. Although I may not have been over 200lbs over weight, I had a slew of co-morbidities due to being over 100 lbs. Now a lot of people wonder why I had the surgery, they say, you wasnt big enough, well, what's big enough when you have a ton of issues going on in the inside no one can see? I'm happy I made this decision and I am dedicated to my decision.

I noticed sometimes, although we may eat the same thing with no problem, 2 or 3 days, the next day our pouch may not want it, causing the nauseous feeling.

Drinking after surgery
YoColeFleet replied to vg1276's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a shot of tequila, which I mixed with lots of water in a water bottle mixed with crystal light flavored margarita mix, it was good and I barely tasted the tequila, I'm 12 weeks out. -
