Hi Jayne, That could be the reason your weight loss has stalled. It's really important to get your protein requirements and liquids in. I know it can be difficult but the best way to guarantee success is get protein in and water intact. I struggled also the first several weeks after surgery. You can do it:). I'm eight months post op today and have loss 98 pounds! Also remember there will be weeks when the scale doesn't move, just follow your doctors plan and it will eventually move again. You can do it! Had my six month appointment today. Everything went well. Said I need to take iron supplement as my iron was a little low but everything else was great. Check out my before and after pictures. The before was my first visit and the after was today at the appointment. Bmi was 44.8 now 31.2! Waist down 18 inches,hips down 12.5 and chest 14.5!! Feeling great!
