  3. Oh no! Thank goodness you are ok now. Did they say how you got it? I'm doing good. I'm 10 pounds from my goal ( I've changed it as I don't think I need to lose as much as I originally thought). So just trying to stay focused and follow the plan.

    Hooked on the scale

I made a chart from the day of surgery to one year. I track my weight on this chart every week from the day of surgery so my weigh in day is on Mondays as I had my surgery on a Monday. It keeps me on track and I can track my one year post op journey. I do sometimes weigh during the week but I only record my weight on my designated weigh in day. I'm 9 1/2 months post op and I've lost 105 pounds. The scale can be a friend or foe just try to follow the doctors plan and I would say weigh once a week. Good luck!

You will be able to soon! I started going to the health club six weeks after my surgery and I started a coach to 5k program. One of the best things I've ever done! Now I'm loving doing the races! Goal is to complete 14 in 2014! Good luck and continued success!

Wow, your BMI has come down a lot. I started at a 44.4 BMI and I'm down to a 27.46 BMI now. I'm getting closer to a normal. BMI also. Glad to hear your appointment went well. I'm sure your labs will be fine!
