That's the most frustrating part of post op life. Hitting the dreaded stalls. Then come and go and I've resorted to using a measuring tape to assure myself all hope wasn't lost.

I eat my Greek yogurt with whole flax seeds. I usually eat Chobani or Oikos. The flax seed gives it a healthy crunch with out alot of added fat and calories and the most important part...cures constipation!!

Ok...so I can eat steak..I've had maybe 2 times previously and was fine. I cannot eat steak if its anything over medium though. Too dry. May be awhile before I can try to again cause it wasn't a pleasant experience. I did manage to stomach down some peanut butter for like the 1st time since I had it after surg. Maybe that aversion is going away. Bad news is chicken may forever be gone. I started gagging while watching travel channel with the husb and they were cooking chicken. My husb says he misses my southern fried chicken.

It's ok. Tomorrow is another day. I was just posting a few days ago how freaked out I was I could hold more volume of food on my pouch. Hang in there!

How far out are u from surg? I had left side pain for right at 3 weeks then tenderness. I didn't think would ever go away and they kept telling me that's where the heaviest work and instrument maneuvering was done. I was worried I'd hurt forever but it did just suddenly get better. Hope that helps?

I paid $400 physician program fee and $50 to see the in house nutritionist. $2k seems kinda wild. I think I might would seek another opinion before paying it. I do have to say tho with my program fee came excellent patient care and service. Good luck!

It never hurts to give ur dr a call. We have highs an lows but its summer and def increases the chances of dehydration alot quicker. Better to err on the safe side and ask ur dr.

Acne yes. Not sure it's biotin tho I kinda just related it to the hormones.

I think I found it. My heart rate was crazy and I was so shaky. I had to travel for work and I thought I was being wise getting taco meat and beans with the cheese. Huge mistake. I'm still feeling shaky. Hope it passes soon

Amen! I battle trying to stay Positive and just getting down. I think we all get kinda rough on ourselves..we just want to have this work so badly! U def aren't alone in this. I go weeks without seeing the scale move. Now I just want to lose the 2lbs I've gained back and that aren't wanting to go! Hang in there!! Hoping its all worth it for us in the end!

That's great news. Love the new pic too btw! I haven't had any labs again and they told me 6 mo so makes me nervous. I'm sure u are doing great I totally understand the feeling slow and down about it..I totally get it. Glad u got such a good report

Happy Thursday y'all! Wanting to be positive today! Gonna couch surf some and be lazy a bit today. Taking a "me" half a day at least and gonna do some Netflix time.

Ok I just had a entire small Wendy's chili for lunch. That's a cup! Anyone else able to eat that much? Kinda freaked me out!! It scared me I'm eating more now. I know it's watery I guess but that's about the most I have been able to eat since surgery.

I hate u guys are going through it too but it honestly helps knowing I'm not the only one.

Mine is steadily falling out. I get more than my protein goal daily, religious about my vitamins, use biotin..it's just doing its own thing. I'm not quiet 4 months and its getting noticeably thin.

My boss was and tomm I have to meet with her for my eval. I feel awful for her. Didn't expect the upper crew to be cut too.

The Edge's are pretty nice. My Inlaws have one. so exciting getting a new car!!!
