I have heard many of these comments myself- mostly from coworkers. None of them know I am planning on having the surgery, and to be honest I dont think I will tell them. None of their business. From what I can see, this is not going to be an easy fix. Pfft. As if its not hard enough to walk in our shoes everyday, the criticism for trying to become healthy is like a slap in the face. Mean people everywhere I suppose.

Im hoping to be a September surgery also! Oooooh what I wouldnt do to move it up to, say, tomorrow!!!! LOL.... Anyway...it is a scary thought. Huge changes! Im hoping that the more I learn, the less scary it will be. Good luck!! -

These may be crazy, but two things I am REALLY looking forward to are 1- having collarbones, and 2- wearing belts!!! Still seems so far away. I have a 6 month pre-op 'medically supervised weight loss' for the insurance. 2 down, 4 to go lol.

Since your tastes change after surgery, it sounds like it would not do any good to try a bunch of them before surgery?
