Icy cold for me!

I erased theboard...they can look in my chart...my purse holds two wallets, two sets of huge keys, checkbook, plus all Water i was taking into the Paul McCartney concert.

having said all this please know that quitting smoking is one of the most difficult things that you can do. I also hear about people on the site who are still drinking alcohol another no no. all you can do is try to be supportive and know that it's a very hard habit to quit.

They assure me that after a few weeks on blood thinners I should be fine.

After a multitude of tests, they found the events ( i had 2) were transient. Now on blood thinners and should be fine. Was scary, though....slurred speech, confusion,inabilty to speak. And I missed the shhow. My son stayed( i insisted) and he said the concert was awesome!

By way way, up until the stroke, I walked all over, even up tons of stairs. The five songs I did get to see were sublime!

Well, i missed paul McCartney because I had a mini stroke BUT 75 lbs ago and 150 cholesterol points ago, it may have been a full blown stroke.. Sad about missing paul, but damn glad to be alive!

In the hospital and they weighed me in the bed. I freaked out! 14 lbs heavier? Then the nurse informed that that was with all blankets, pillows, clothes,etc. I even think my 15 lb purse was on the bed. They then posted my weight on the dry erase board in my room....how very sensitive of them!

I'm in a the hospital with a TIA ( mini stroke). Which, by way, I got at the beginning of the paul McCartney concert:( SUCKS! And you guessed it, the doc at this unfamiliar hospital blamed it on rny... Totally ignorant. He wants to start me on aspirin....not only did I just have rny, I'm allergic to aspirin! We discussed this for a good 45 min. Before I told him to get out. And hospital food isn't wls friendly unless you order it pureed....passs! I would have been better off traveling to my regular hospital....ambulance didn't go that far, though . Anyway, missed the show, and had to fight with the doctor about how gastric bypass is the root of all evils.
