When I was at the height of my bulimia, I weighed 127 lbs...I'm almost 5'11"! People were constantly telling me I looked great, etc. it really was harmful. I had to learn about proper body image. Screwy body image is all over this society.

I suffer from clinical depression and have a very addictive personality. I previously had bulimia and it took years of therapy to beat my issues...I need to continue to work with my therapist who is well versed in all addictions, maybe for life. I also attend support groups where I can be myself and discuss my feelings...this is the root of my problem...using substances to hide my feelings, and only learning to realize,confront,and deal with my feelings on a daily basis helps me. It's tough to peel back the layers and get honest, but ultimately, it's all that works for me.

I'm starting a training for a new non profit advocacy job on Monday. I've been on disability since 2002, and can no longer teach, so hopefully this will turn into a less physically demanding job.As far as hiring skinny people, statistics are clear that overweight people are hired at a lower rate than thinner people. It's still a accepted form of discrimination.

Where are you located?

I can eat so little, I'm getting very few nutrients. I would primarily juice veggies. Cant eat a lot of those, either. There are great recipes out there that include superfoods like kale, beet, carrot,and tomato. I guess I'll call my nut.

I'm just brainstorming ideas here.

Can you move farther out from the city?

I want to be in the 150s by a year out.....I'm 208 at five months out, so I think I can do it!

I hope everything gets better....in Wisconsin, if you live in a shelter for a period of time, you move to the top of the housing list.....is this a possibility? You and your kids don't deserve abuse. I worry for you, as abuse tends to escalate over time, and God knows your kids don't. need to be exposed to it. Screw him...you're great, and you deserve better.

I'm 48, and I breastfed twins for over a year....the girls are a lost cause. Thankfully, my husband just want me to get healthy.

I've got to go clothes shopping soon....I have one pair of pants that fit, and my underwear is falling off!
