    How about some NSVs!?!?

Totally off topic...but I scored a $280 cashmere/ wool sweater for $$50. It's a large, and bulky, so I think I'll be able to wear it for a long time with jeggings...oh yeah, I can wear leggings and skinny jeans without scaring people!

    Stage 3 solid foods

Just found this: 1 c crushed fiber one cereal 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 3 or 4 Tbls. all natural peanut butter 3 or 4 Tbls. milk 1/8 t cinnamon Mix cereal, powder and cinnamon Gradually add dribbles of milk until mixture us clumpy, but like sand and holds together in a ball. Make ball of mixture and store in airtight container in fridge. Definitely going to try these...about 65 calories, 7 grams protein. I guess using chocolate powder tastes like a reeses cup. Yummy, for every once in awhile.

    Stage 3 solid foods

Search the recipe section...lots if good stuff posted. My quicky go to foods include string cheese, Jerky, deli meats, and homemade hummus. I also make big pots if chili, red Beans, and smaller amounts of chicken and egg salad. Cold Shrimp is good for snacking, and I make seared scallops all the time. Broiled tilapia, Mediterranean chicken, and quiche really keep me going. Most if the recipes are in the recipe section.

    done

I think everyone in our shoes can relate to having a sick relationship with food. I wonder if you can redefine success as having a healthy relationship with food and being healthy. I was bulimic for over fifteen years, in recovery for twenty. I am in therapy, and I probably will need support for life. What I've learned is that purging and other unhealthy food behaviors are not about food at all...that's just the symptom. My bulimia was about me not knowing how to deal with my feelings, good or bad. I came from a dysfunctional family who did not deal with feelings in a normal way, so I had to learn how to feel my feelings and not stuff them My therapist's concern with the surgery was that , while it us a great weight loss tool it also forces a restricted eating pattern, so I eat as normally as possible in the restricted parameters of my new lifestyle: regular meal times, scheduled snacks, food logging, etc. This makes me eat more or less like a " normal" person in an abnormal situation. But support us crucial....professional support. I urge you to contact your team so they can guide you to a good therapist and support system. You are worth it! We're here for you, but we're not professionals, and opinions are often times well intentioned, but misguided...after all, they're only opinions from lay people. Please look into getting help...we care, and we want the best for yiu.

    tomato/tomato products...

Ask your nut. It really depends in the type of seed. I was told to peel and seed tomatoes until 6 months.I will be six months on the 29 th, and I still can't do fruit skins.

Thank you to all for your support and information...I'll be going to uw Madison university hospital next, there's a doctor there who has pioneered nerve pain treatment( love Google). And if they can't help me, it's off to Mayo. By the way....I'm proud of all of us...doing great! I'm going to start really focusing on feeling good rather than how I look. So, I'm wrinkly, I can walk and swim, and I look pretty damn good in clothes. I'm 48, wrinkles were going to happen; now I'll be around to enjoy them!

I'm hoping they'll find a med that will lessen the attacks for now...it's not a permanent solution, though. Right now I'll just be happy to have a doctor who will not pass the buck.
