I'm thinking about waiting til December for plastics that would be 1 1/2yr after surgery hoping for another 21lb loss but only 1lb away from des goal weight. And only 10months post op currently.

Try diet v8 splash w1 scoop of plain or vanilla protein in a 16-20oz mixer bottle they taste great, I put it in empty bottle & take to work also. -

Whole wheat or 100 % whole grain pasta but eat no more than dr recommends. -

Diana I'm 10 months post op & 1lb from Dr goal, just remember fluids 64oz per day & 60-80grams of protein per day for life easily done after healed up in many different ways. Fluid intake counts w/protein shakes as fluid& protein together , keep as log/journal of daily fluid & food intake,even now I still get off track a bit but return to fluids for a few days & continue onward. -

If you continue us smoking post op your body will take twice as long to heal /start losing the lbs.. what's more Important??? -
When not losing lbs your usually losing inches been there &it's true so don't think anything else

No more drinking w/straws ever ,you get gassy & can stretch the sleeve out from extra air ingested. -
Do the surgery don't delay any longer, my husband had 3 heart attacks on July 3,4&5 my surgery was on July22,2013 I thought about cancelling but husband said no do the surgery & I don't regret it because stress from any situation can cause more weight gain. It's your health on the line...

I'm10 months post op& 1lb from des goal weight but want to lose another 10-20lbs for my goal weight,I'm currently @149 lbs & still losing. So when is time for panning??? 1yr or when?

There will always be a mortgage or bill of some sort .some ppl only have one chance @ having children. Think about what happens if you are never again able to concieve again? You could regret terminating a pregnacy, children are the greatest we are given they are a big blessing. Please don't make any rash/sudden decisions yet. Think very hard &I pray you keep the baby ... praying for you. -

Recovery Time - Band vs Bypass

Band tends to get corrrosion easily in a few yrs &usually requires a revision so do bypass from start,I promise you won't regret it.I did mine on July 22,2013 &2wks later felt fine ,up moving after 3days really good -
