Nurse TAB, if you Don't mind me asking how long were you off of work. I'm a nurse on a Busy unit and am wondering if 6 week recovery and time off of work is enough

maybe you should check your blood sugar, dumping is caused by eating foods that are high in sugar/carbs my nutritionist said that our body reacts to the carbs with a surge of insulin which then causes a drop uh blood sugar leading to the symptoms that you're having.

welcome, it is a scat thought when you know you are making a life changing decision, but know that you aren't the only who is scared this is a great form and meeting place you will learn a lot. good luck

Hi Donnah! some people can be really mean and awful! a lot of their contents come from ignorance so try not to let it get to you, but at the same time I would tell the critics that it's your life not there's and you don't want, need, our care about their opinions. I might say opinions are like assholes and everybody got one lol! good luck though, I'm starting my journey and have been very selective who I tell for those very reasons, it's on a need to know basis. that sounds great if you dint mind me asking how long had it taken you to get to this stage. Did you have a 6 month waiting period.

I love my beer and wine too I'm worried as well but I'm willing to give it up.... for awhile and maybe not add much as I do now.

I'm going for my first meeting with the surgeon tomorrow not sure what to expect I'm hoping don't have a 6 month waiting period. I would like to have this done by the end of the summer if not sooner. Good luck on your journey
