I was banded by Dr Dillemans in Sept 2008 and i have lost 9 stone just 2 more to go i have had 3 fills a total of 6ml in my Ap large band,i can only speak good of Dillemans Mick

I am 14 weeks post op ,no fill and lost 72 pounds to date.I have no problem sticking to 800 calories,30 grams of carbs and minimum of 80 grams of protein, but i still eat too fast and get stuck leading to Pbs.It seems it is an habit i can not break.

Well i am 31/2 months post op and down 70 pounds and i thought i was doing well,you have done great keep it going and you will soon be at goal well done

Hi i am from the Uk too and had Surgery with Bruno Dillemans in Brugge on the 26th September 2007 i have not had a fill yet and am down 70 pounds,you are in good hands with Dr Dillemans and his team

I remember waking up with 2 male nurses on the left hand side of my bed, and taking a swing at them for some reason and pulling out the tubes and cables connected to me.

What amount of fat grams do you aim to keep to?

I have still not had a fill and have lost 67 pounds since the 26 September.As long as i am losing i will put off the fill.I feel good and energy levels ok,800 calories a day 30 grams Carbs and minimum 80 grams protien

I am from England but was banded in Belgium and was put in ICU as my breathing was a little shallow when in recovery due to Apnea

I must be a lucky bandster,i have lost 63 pounds in 12 weeks so far.I do exercise most days

Hi i was banded September 26 and i am down 58 pounds and no fill as yet Mike

I flew 2 days after surgery and did not set off any alarms

I have taken to cycling,now doing around 50 miles per week

These people will not rest until islam rules the whole world,it is their aim and they will not dettered ,here in the Uk they ask for a mulim parliment,sharria law and muslim schools yet they are guests here and our lilly livered government give as they ask

I got myself a new mountain bike as i can walk far due to severe arthritis in both knees and average 30 miles per week.In 9 weeks i am down 58 pounds so it sure works

I am aiming to lose 150 pounds by the time my band celebrates its first birthday,so far i am 8 weeks post op and down 56 pounds so i think it is doable

At 8 weeks i am down 56 pounds and very happy with my progress

My surgeon told me it is all about the size of the stomach when he gets to see it,the bigger the stomach the bigger band is fitted otherwise it would be to tight even without a fill

I flew 2 days after surgery and did not experience any problems,i think there is a thread about this subject already

Me too i passed through security 2 days after surgery and no problem.
