    Soda yes? No?

Poor soda on the gunk that builds up on a car battery and see what it does. I saw that as a teen and haven't drank it since.

    June Post Ops!

That is exactly how I felt yesterday. Yesterday was 6 days post op for me. My surgery was the 12th. I think my body is just not bouncing back as quickly as others. Mine was a revision surgery so I am chalking it up to that. Today is a bit better but I am still not completely on my game. I just feel off and a little tired and blah

    Gas TMI

Since my surgery last week I have had the worst smelling gas. There shouldn't be anything in there. Anyone else have this going on? I have never passed so much stinky gas in ny life. Sorry Tmi.

    What ya eating tonight?

I eat about 2.5 ounces of the yogurt per meal. That is roughly half the carton.

    PreOp Class

I am shocked by this. Do these people really think they are ready? Wow. I can't imagine being that ignorant.

    Pain!

That is terrible! You need to find a new gynecologist. There is no reason for a flippant answer like that. Have you had your appendix checked? What about gallbladder?

    Soda yes? No?

I was told no carbonated beverages. I am very lucky to be a person who doesn't like soda at all. Even before surgery the only non- alcoholic beverages I drank were water, unsweet tea and skim milk. That is a true blessing because those are all things I can still have. Even no alcohol for the first year will be fine. My vices are sweets so I plan to not try any refined sugar and am telling myself I will dump. Better to keep that sugar monster at bay!

    What ya eating tonight?

I agree. I measure everything. I am on mushy food so I keep it between 2-3 ounces on anything as thick as greek yogurt. If it is a protein shake I go up to 8 ounces but that is thinned out. I am always super full after protein shakes. The 2-3 ounces of yogurt or cottage cheese etc always fills me up too. I try and have something, even if it is 4 ounces of skim milk at least every 3 hours. My calories are super low but my protein has been between 55-60 grams. I'd like to up that by 10-15 grams in the next day or so.
  15. I am six days out and struggling today. I think my husband is being insensitive which isn't like him at all. He got mad when he came home from work today because he left the mail on the kitchen counter and o sorted it and shredded the junk mail. Apparently there was a coupon he wanted that I shredded and he started yelling. I have been crying ever since. This is so hard and I think he thinks it is as easy as getting to be home from work. Now I can't stop crying and I feel sick to ny stomach. It is time for me to eat but I don't want to leave my room. I just wish he understood how hard this is and that I need his support now more than last week in the hospital. The normal me would have put him in his place but I just don't have it in ne right now. Ironically I would normally want food in this situation but now I just want to cry.

    Crying..

You all are right it is hormones. I am just used to going ninety to nothing and this anesthesia post surgery blues is something I wasn't completely prepared for. Im very sensitive and feel like I should feel further along already. I just took a shower and went out to the living room and he acted like nothing even happened. I can act too. Lol
