Hello everyone! I wanted to go ahead and start an August surgery group. With everyone's date rolling in, I figured it was time! My surgery is August 2 and I am nervous and excited, but mostly ready to be done!!! How about everyone else?

Post op day 4;) If any of you have any questions please feel free to send me a personal message and I will e glad to answer even the most embarrassing question

I am awake and getting ready to start the first day of the rest of my life! I am so many emotions right now, but the main one is ready. Thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes! See you on the other side

I cannot believe that my surgery is three days away. It seems like yesterday they assigned me a date ( and that was in June) and it seems like a month ago I met my surgeon ( and that was in January). What I mean to say is time had flown by and now I feel like I can't catch my breath. Please tell me it is all going to be ok. Right now I can't seem to see around everything to the place where I live a semi normal life. And I worry if I am prepare for everything or if I'm going to fall hard and ruin everything I've worked so hard for.

Am I the only one this worried?

Hey August angels;) we have another support thread full of fabulous people, but we wanted to go ahead and form a nice list of everyone with their surgery dates. I had mine last night too! I chose Olive Garden. Got my last pasta fix. And honestly this morning I am regretting it:/ I also only have a one day liquid diet

I was just planning to draw out a calendar and start at the beginning of the thread and write them all down. Then just create a list. I would just concern myself with the people who post on this thread, and encourage others to come here. Trying to run around this whole site would be a total headache lol! Does that make sense?

Mine was completely different! I had to continue to loose weight (no specific amount) over the course of 6 months, then one day prior to surgery I have a liquid diet and a bowel cleanse...that's gonna be a fuuuun day:)

I know how hard it is to wait for that date, but I'm so glad you (and me) are almost to the other side! Congrats!!

I am at presby downtown. I'm on the other side of Charlotte:) congrats girls! We should arrange some type of meet up at some point
