Has anyone out there had a fobi band placed? I would just love to hear someone's story that ha experienced it. I am sure I will be having a banded RNY, I would just like to know if it is worth it

So excited!!!! Congrats!!!! I just did my endoscopy today, one more diet visit and then I am hoping to share my date too!!!

Hoping for a July date! One more doctors appointment than I submit!!! Fingers crossed!!!

I want, in the long scale of things, to go to my 10 year high school reunion in a couple of years, and feel confident. I want to show people that I am more than just my weight. But more immediately, I would love to be able to go to a theatre or concert and not have to worry if I will be able to fit in the seat, or if I'm gonna walk out with swollen thighs from sitting someplace too small for me. It may seem like a little thing, but I just want to feel normal

I have been read thread after thread and I am actually finding myself more and more unsure if it is even possible to loose as much weight as I need to loose. I am currently 362 pounds, and I would love to step on a scale and be below 200. Someone out there please tell me it's not hopeless. Someone tell me I can really save my life.

I am feeling so much more confident because of all your stories and words of encouragement. I am wondering thoe, what makes the big difference? Do any of you feel like are are missing anything out of your life now without bad food?

I cannot thank you all enough for your words of encouragement. When you first decide to go through with this it all seems so easy (to me it did anyway) now that I am almost to the losers bench, I am just getting so scared. Can I really do this? Am I making a mistake? What will my life be like? I am so glad I'm not alone. I am so glad that so many of you understand the fears

I have completed 5 months of my 6 months worth of medically monitored diet (my insurance is a beast), and my psych evaluation, and my nutritionist meetings. In two weeks I go for my endoscopy and the following week I do my final diet meeting. Then hopefully I will approved and get my date. I am shooting for the end of June beginning of July. I guess you guys can tell me all about it! I am so excited for you both!
