We did not get fat overnight, and will not lose the weight overnight either. Even with this tool, there is still much work and effort that must be put into it in order to succeed. Make sure you are willing to work at it. It is not magic. If people try to tell you this is the easy way out, they have no clue what they are talking about.

I could not take the wads of hair any longer. Went today and had about 6 inches cut off. She put some long layers in and does help it to look fuller. Not use to this barely to my shoulder length but hopefully won't have such massive handsfull coming out since it's short. Maybe I will learn to like it. -

When I get full, I always have a hiccup/ burp. My kids even tell me "guess your full" when they hear me. That is my clue to put down the fork and leave it down. -

Is anyone besides me losing their hair like crazy still? I can not believe that is is coming out by the handful every single day. I have easily lost 1/2 of my hair. It is so thin. I am very worried. I get my protein in, I take my vitamins, I eat good (99.9% of the time). When is this going to slow down? -

I had an off day today. First of all, I weigh on Monday mornings and only lost 1/2 lb this past week. Worst week yet. :-( Had to report for jury duty and ended up being chosen as a juror....so all I had to eat was my yogurt this morning.....then at the courthouse a tiny bag of pretzels and a cookie. Cafeteria was cash only...I was not prepared at all. I thought they would send me home but that didn't happen. Guess I better pack me a healthy lunch for tomorrow. Maybe I will take advantage of the hour lunch and walk around downtown. -
Shoe size shrunk?

I definitely noticed a change in my feet. I had some flats that were a tad uncomfortable and would rub on the knuckle part of my big toe. Wore them a couple months ago and they were so loose, that they flipped and flopped on my foot all day and created a nasty blister on my heel. -

Sometimes I will get a spoon and scoop me some and just lick it clean. Not as frequently as I was in the beginning, but once in a while I still do. -
I had RNY so I do not have any personal experience with the band. However, there are some groups of people on here (you need to check them out) that are having revisions from band to bypass because the band failed them for some reason or another. The band procedure, for some doctors, is not even an option anymore due to some of the issues people are having with it. It is totally up to you and what you are comfortable with doing, it is your body. Your doctors will let you know what they think is best for you. Do some research and make an informed decision that you are okay with. I wish you the best on your journey. You will do great!

I have an awesome chili recipe..I will go dig it out and post it. -
I have not had labs done yet. Supposed to do that at my 6 month post op visit on October 3rd.
-
You can get them on their website. I usually call them @ 877-822-5808. I think they are on amazon too. Shipping is pretty quick.
-
I use these. It is a once a day chewable. SO much easier than taking a vitamin several times a day and they do not taste too awful bad. You can get $5 shipping on up to 6 bottles I believe and they are $10 a bottle.

I am having a bad day, actually having a bad week, lacking in willpower. I went to a back to school party with my kids on Saturday and brought a plate of food and dessert home for my husband....he did not touch it so I found myself nibbling at the cake. Ended up eating the whole small piece. I don't seem to dump on sugar. I have had several handfuls of popcorn (cheese popcorn) this week with no disastrous results. I just hate that it seems I am able to eat things I shouldn't. Of course, not the quantity, but hate that I even let some of these things cross my lips. My husband eats junk constantly, my 7 year old son is getting heavy and is always asking for food. He sees his dad get up from the dinner table and go straight to the pantry for a snack and of course he wants to have something too. At first, I did not feel it would be right for me to expect my family to eat the way I eat, but I am seeing my son get into some bad habits and I know I need to stop it now. Sorry to unload, just a little perplexed with it all. -

I am not too hungry so having one of my favorite Chobani Coconut greek yogurt with Toasted Almonds and Dark Chocolate Chips (very tiny very few actual chips). -
I am 4 months post op and tired most of the time too. Getting up at 4:30 a.m. has a lot to do with me being tired though. Once in a while I feel energetic, but not very often.

Have a pork roast in the crockpot to make shredded pork tacos tonight. Yum! -
I am so glad you liked it! It was so much fun putting together. It makes me feel good to put a smile on someones face. I wanted to send a note too about the samples of calcium.....I ordered those and was not able to use them. If they don't agree with you, please feel free to pass them along. I know each of us reacts differently to some of these things. Hope your vacation was awesome. Get some rest.

Did yours arrive yet?

I received my box full of goodies today. It was great and smelled great too. I got a few samples of things I have wanted to try, protein powder, bar, almond milk, some awesome smelling party-lite candles, a magnetic notepad, some water flavoring and some yummy snacks! This is so fun!¡!

I did the same thing. I bought the huge ones (before I knew how big they are) and it was a double pack. UGH!! I hate them even when I use a pill splitter and cut them in half. Currently I am using the Citrical Calcium Petites. They are about half the size of the big ones but pretty thick. I do skip them more than I should. I am going to find the yummy chewy ones that every one likes so much.
