Normal weight loss for May surgeries

Just curious for comparison how much weigh I shpuld be down if surgery was in May. Pre surgery weight was 254. Current weight is 198! Does that seem normal or not enough. -

I'm in!!!!! Started at 254 before surgery on May 28th now weigh 198! -
So I am two months out and I'm down about 40 pounds. That's great and all but I've been the same weight for about two and a half weeks now with like a 2-4 weight gain then loss again like once a week. I feel like I hit a plateau. Is only 40 pounds in two months normal????

Did anyone's doctors give them meds that they needed to be on for acid, indigestion or heartburn???? Mine did and I just never remember to take it. I'm not getting any of those things but lately my stomach hurts after I eat or drink anything!!

So my surgery date was May 28, 2013. My pre surgery weight was 254, my current weight is 213! I'm excited about the 41 pound weight loss but I don't see a difference and I'm always hungry!!!! I'm still on a restricted diet and just literally got released to exercise but I have no energy to do it!!! Just looking for help and or advice!!!

I totally feel for u!!!! I'm four weeks out and still don't feel great! I do feel better then what I did but not good enough!!!!! Hang in there u did this to better urself!!!!! Ps. I'm still having the crying episodes!!!!

So I'm having severe right lower side pain that also goes through my back. Has anyone else had this or had any complications that caused this pain! I did also have my gallbladder out an I'm three weeks post op!

They did and I spent a few hours in the er where I have a sprained muscle and an infection in my urine. Fun fun

So my surgery was Tuesday and I'm still in soooooo much pain!!!!!! I can't move without feeling like I'm dying!

So my surgeon and the nutritionist in the practice gave me what to eat and when to go onto new things. I'm suppose to be on purée right now and it's just not cutting it! I feel hungry still! Has anyone progressed before there dr suggested???? If so are there any suggestions on what would be the best things and easy to digest? Cw230 Psw 254 Hw 260

Thanks for the advice. Yesterday I think I pushed my limit and either ate to fast or too much and I had what I think was dumping!!!!!!! It was horrible! I literally felt like I was dying for hours. So I'm totally gonna follow directions bc I can't go through that again!!!! I'm gonna try the refried beans and mashed potatoes!!!! Thanks again everyone!!!!! -

Still not feeling great!!!! And I can't sleep!!!!! The Jp tube in my side is killing me and still bleeding!! Can't wait to have it out on Wednesday! I'm having upper right thigh numbness too!!!! On the plus side I'm eating apple sauce, cream of wheat, mashed potatoes!! Enough with me how are u feeling now?????

So I had my surgery on Tuesday. I now have a lot of numbness in my right upper thigh and on my side where my Jp tube still is! I was sent home the very next day and wound up back in the er last night with major pain. My surgeon said it shouldn't be that bad by day three!!! Now I'm worried about this new problem!!! Anyone have this???? What can I do!!!!

Somebody please tell me how to make it through this liquid only diet!!!!! I cried twice today and feel over emotional!!! I'm so hungry I have a headache and shakes! I'm not sure what to do or how to make it through seven days until my surgery!!!!! HELP -
So I'm getting ready for the hospital and surgery for me is today! Still not feeling too nervous!! Good luck to everyone today and I will look for stories from today surgeries!
