Crab stuffed portobello mushrooms! Mmmmm!!

I had 3/4 of an ounce of pasta last night w no problems. It was quite tasty and normal feeling for a change!

I've had strawberries since about 5 weeks out with no problems :-). Eat up!

Made chicken and chicken andouille gumbo for dinner w brown rice! Mmmm!

I had my endoscope and dilation this morning! What a total difference it made! The doc said he was amazed I could keep anything down the hole was so small. They dilated it to 10mm and I have to go back next week so they can do it again. He wants it to be 12mm. I'm feeling so much better and kicking my butt for not going two weeks ago! Thanks for all the support!

I know I should be able to check inside for the strings and be able to feel them. But these strings are hanging out of my vagina. And they are irritating the opening. I know she sit them down during insertion bc she talked about it. I wonder if its coming out or if she just didn't cut enough off? I would call her but she left for Cali this morning so guess ill wait until Monday.

I can feel the strings hanging out this morning. Is that normal?

I was 7 weeks this past Wed.

I had the mirena installed this morning! Sucked going in, some dull cramps afterwards and light bleeding but I'm feeling good now and bleeding has almost stopped. Good luck!

Pumpkin fluff!

So, I finally decided that it's not something I'm doing wrong but something physically not right with my pouch. Over the past couple days I've barley taken in 3 cups of liquids and less than 600 cals due to vomiting. My energy is zapped. So I called the surgeon. He wanted me in tomorrow for endoscope and possible dilation. I couldn't arrange for child care that quickly so I'm going in on Friday. Sigh...I'm nervous...being put to sleep again. I'm disappointed that I have to do this. I was just getting groove with exercise and feeling good now this. Anyone else know anything about this? How long will I be in the hospital? How long is recovery? Will I be able to attend a function on Saturday evening for example? Thanks guys. Chris

Nectar makes a Cappuccino protein powder that I mix with a cup of decaf coffee. The whole packet is 100 cals, 23g protein and 0 sugar. I mix it with an immersion blender and it froths up like a cappuccino is suppose to. Pretty delicious!

Does it hurt afterwards? Will I have to go back on a liquid diet?

Well, I think I know why I struggled all day Sunday and every day since; I have to go to the hospital in Friday morning bc the doc thinks in have a stricture :-(.

It wasn't bad for me but they gave me pain meds right before I walked out the door! I'm sure that helped. Anything over 2 hours and they will want u to stop and walk for 10 minutes or so. Other than that it was smooth sailing for me. You may want to bring a pillow to brace your tummy if you need to cough or to block seatbelt. :-)

I was the exact same way Saturday and Sunday! I haven't drank soda in 4.5 years!

My pouch too!!! What the heck was up yesterday?? I threw up everything I tried to take in. Hoping today is better for both of us bc I'm feeling very dehydrated!

Amount of weight to lose a week. I only lost about 3lbs this week and I'm a little discouraged. Also, why is my face breaking out like a prepubescent girl! What's up with that??

Well, not sure how, but I weighed this morning and over night I loses another 2lbs! So that's 5lbs down this week. I'll take that :-)

I was on clear liquids 1/2 day b4 surgery and all day the after surgery. The 2nd day in hospital I was put on full-liquids which I was on for 4 weeks.
