Hi! I am a 38 year old mom of 2 great kiddos and married to my Prince! I started the WLS journey in 2008 and shortly found out after my initial appt that I was pregnant. That put a huge kink in the plan. But God has a bigger plan! I had a beautiful little girl! My husband and I decided last Jan we were going to go through this journey together as a team (2012). We got started with a Dr. and did all the pre-op stuff only to find out 2 weeks before his surgery that they had messed up the paper work all along and we were going to have to start the process over. We switched surgeons and are now with a phenominal group that has their act together. I am hoping to have surgery in June and DH is following soon after in August. We are eating healthy and excercising now in hopes of having an easier recovery.
