Don't get discouraged we all lose at different speeds my dr was surprised at what I have lost but it will happen for you be proud of what you have accomplished we are on a rocky journey with many ups and downs

Hi my name is misty I am 37 and have been obese my entire life I am two weeks pre op and feeling very overwhelmed I was always against the surgery but last nov my Bp was so out of control my dr told me I was a stroke waiting to happen I have tried diet after failed diet and I am scared of failing with this ad well hoping to find some people near me I am pretty new to the north central alabama area having my surgery may 1st .... Open to any suggestions or tips anyone has

Just a quick update still having troubles with my liquids and getting adequate protein I am three weeks post op tomorrow and I have lost 42.2 lbs Hw 413 sw 403 cw 360.8

I still have problems eating and drinking my surgeon says its normal some days I barely 24 oz in its getting better

i would like to apologize for not being here to support everyone lately good luck to all the upcoming surgeries and congrats to everyone post op and on the losers bench with me yay we did it I need to ask anyone now how to deal with some stress and depression post op ? One week ago today our family was devastated by a loss my niece lost her six year old son I know some think of us as distant family but we are very close to her and her children and I'm having a hard time coping

Just a quick update on me was having what I thought was problems but saw the dr today he said everything was normal and I looked great my heavy weight was 418 my pre op was 403 and one week after surgery I'm at 380.3

I had mine a week ago tomorrow still no desire to eat at all and unfortunately I'm still pretty sore but the dr said its bcz I had some swelling that hasn't gone away yet but doing well otherwise

I did a couple of times sexy diva because I got so sick and my sugars wouldn't stabilize

You actually lose more weight with bypass vs sleeve and for my surgery buddies that had surgery this week or prior is anyone else bruised?

Just wanted to let everyone know that things went great yesterday a little sore in my mid abdomen but all in all doing very well will be better if they would let me nap lol good luck and lots of prayers for today's surgeries

Ok so now it's crunch time packing and getting things in order to find out my other half is working late and not sure when he will be off tonight yay just something else to deal with today lol anyhow I will post tomorrow as soon as I am back to my room and able .... Good luck everyone starting their pre op diets ... I'm on the home stretch of mine .. Hospital arrival time 830 surgery time is 11

My mind is in a million and one places less thirty six hours I will arrive at the hospital for surgery and I feel like nothing is in order yet

Today is my last day of protein and I will be starting clear liquids tomorrow and surgery prep my 14 days have gone by fast ... Having a hard time with emotions

I got the call yesterday that I need to be at the hospital at 830 Wednesday morning I can't believe it's this close having some issues with anxiety right now I haven't told many people I'm doing this bcz I didn't want the negative feedback and now I am feeling guilty .. Ugh
