It is powdered peanut butter. Regular and/or chocolate. It is very good, you mix it with water, actually I mix mine with premier chocolate ready to drink mix. Adds more protein when I dip my apple it in. I have to have my chocolate everyday. It has become a staple in my diet. 2 tablespoons have 45 calories, 2 grams of fat and 4 grams of protein.. My nut told me when I eat fruit needed to have some form of protein so it works for me. Good stuff and very yummy!!!

Talking about the chocolate PB2 it's like crack for me. I have it every day, put it in my shakes, eat with an apple. I love it. I order it by the pound. Good stuff !!!

Been a rough journey so far. Lost my best friend a week after surgery. She had motorcycle accident. Lost 3 work friends 2 weeks after going back to work, but still lost 80 lbs. this week I lost my job. I am hoping that being at a normal weight it will be easier to find another job. Started 265 was 185 today. Still want to lose 25 more but things r not on my side I am afraid. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

I am 4 months out and I get hungry. But it doesn't take much to make the hunger go away. For me (I know everyone is different) it was one of the easiest things I have ever done. I was ready and willing to do what needs to be done. I am down 75 lbs and loving my new life. Still have about 30 more to lose but it will come off. You can do this. The liquid diet is the hardest part of the journey. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

They r wonderful, but my weight has slowed since I have been eating them. Gonna give them up for a couple of weeks and see. Nike them for about 30 seconds and they are chewy instead of hard. GOOD Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

well 4 months ago my life changed forever. I am down 70 lbs got 35 more to go. Look and feel better than I have in a while. People ask me if I would do it again. IN A HEARTBEAT. Best decision I ever made. Have not had any complications, no foods bother me. I can eat almost anything I want (just smaller amounts). I am looking forward to the rest of my life I am hoping for a long healthy one. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

Can't. That is the only thing so far that has bothered my pouch. Can eat all kinds of meat, just not peanut butter -

It will get better. I am 6 weeks out. The crying has finally stopped. My dr. Told me the surgery makes us very emotional. The pain is gone. My stomach is almost back to its natural color. It was so bruised it was almost dark black. I still can't lay flat for a long period of time. And I will talk to him tomorrow about that. And hang in there. Right now it may not feel like it. But It will be worth it. Just like having a baby. After you see the results you forget about the pain.

Fancie57 replied to DebbieG's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Started 265, day of surgery 246, went to dr. Today 228. My surgery was 5/20. Not really aging any problems except for the gas. It hurts. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk -
3 weeks out and feel like I can eat anything. I am being rel careful about weighing things because I feel like I could keep eating. The only time I feel restricted is with liquids. When will the foods kick in?

Found out today I have an uncommon side effect of the surgery. I can't burp. So when drinking am pushing air into pouch and since it ain't coming out of the other way it is stuck in my pouch and causing lots and lots of pain. Dr tells me this will go Way, but it's almost like a baby with colic. Worse pain I have ever had in my life. So now I am siping little sips finally feeling better today side not hurting as bad. . Just spent 6 hrs. In emergency room with severe pain on left side. Can't drink anything. Thet didn't find anything so now thinking it is just gas. What the heck. What can I do to get rid of this gas pocket in my pouch. I have stopped all milk products. Heard you can become lactrose intolerant have taken some gas x am walking but it's not moving. Right now I can drink or et anything without severe pain. hELP

I did not have any vomiting with mine, just every sip I take causes severe pain, I'm trying little tiny sips. Still nothing
