I forgot that I won't be eating the whole container, good point. -
Went to the gym for the first time today. My surgery was June 11th so walking is my exercise. I saw everyone commenting on the elyptical machine so I tried on at a slow pace. Man at 5 minutes my quads were burning and my knees had it. I think I will use this as my warmup for walking.

I am doing fantastic! This week I am trying to get my vitamins, water and protein on a schedule. This is the first week with vitamins.

I am on the pureaded food stage and was looking at yogurt last night at the store. Everything flavored had over 20 grams of sugar, does anyone have dumping problems with this sugar level? -
Today is day 6 and I am feeling really good. My doctor was Dr. Robert Davis and I believe he did a fantastic job. I have more pain from my throat and ear from the tube they put down your throat than from the surgery. Also the hospital staff at Memorial Herman were fantastic. They treated my wife and I really well.
-
The nurses at the hospital called me a light weight since my BMI was lower than 40. I did not get upset since they took fantastic care of me while I was there.
-
I got the same comments about not being large enough. But when I asked people to guess my weight no one was on the money and most were surprised how much I actually weighed.
-
I am in Houston.
-
Tried cream of wheat really runny with skim milk this morning. Settled pretty well I will do it again.
-
My pain is only around the drain on my left side. Unless gas is rumbling around. I am on day 3 also, hopefully we will improve across the weekend.
-
Made it home and it feels good to back in our house. Chicken broth for dinner and a sugar free Popsicle. Mande how are you doing?

Having clear chicken broth my first meal out of the hospital. -
Finally discharged from the hospital and home. Man it feels good to sit on my own couch. The staff at the hospital was super no complaints and everything went really well. Sipped my first liquid loretab, not too bad. Wishing everything goes as well for everyone else.
-
Yeah any favorites would be appreciated. Had my GB the same day as Mande.
-
I had to wait 3 hours, what a drag. I just got my upper GI results so now I can sip liquids, hooray!
-
I can hardly wait to start drinking after my upper GI. I have the hiccups, lol.
-
Hey people. I went under at 4pm yesterday. It was tough with no liquids but worth it. Not much pain with the morphine. Going for my upper GI so I can start sipping Water.
-
Thanks.
-
I am scheduled for 3:30 today. Good luck and we can compare our experience.
-
On clear liquids today. The hospital called and I am scheduled for surgery at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon. I can hardly wait.
-
If my surgery goes well this week I plan to travel by plane 9 days later for a wedding
-
Clear liquids tomorrow so I do not have to do a bowel prep for my surgery on Tuesday. Starting to get a little nervous.
-
Can I just say thank you!

Aetna told me 15 days to review my package and they took every day. Almost drove me crazy, but they did approve it. Then you switch to scheduling your surgery and get antsy when the date gets close. One step at a time.
