Looks almost similar than mine! But be happy, yours could be worse - look at this face of mine! Now i struggle with the thought. Do i put make-up on to cover it and look better BUT make it worse? Or do i leave it open to try and heal it and not clog it up, but then i look terrible at work? I had no make-up on today at work. Felt bad. Dont want to walk around looking like this. BUT it also freaks me out so much and distresses me that i will do anything to fix it, so no make-up it is...

Hahahaha i hate that damn cpap machine as well! Haha! Good luck with everything. It can be tough at times and i have to say i have found the mental pressures the most. But it gets better with time and it is amazing to actually just lose weight and not pick it back up again! I wish you the best of luck!

Hi friends! Had my surgery on 17 april. Just thought i'd give you an update and ask how i am doing in sync with the rest of our group. I am down 75 pounds. I feel and know it could be more, because i dont really have an exercise routine and i am considering options to up that. I am doing ok with water but sometimes forget my vits, especially over weekends. I eat quite little and dont think i consume enough protein. I dont really dump however i can get the stuck feeling quite easily. I am fine with chocolates! It is terrible and great at the same time! I am struggling mentally (totally off my anxiety and depression meds and think it might have a big influence) and it helps to be able to eat some chocolate. Obviously not nearly as much as before op. it bothers me but it also keeps me sane, you know? My hear has been falling out quite a lot the last few weeks and with that my skin has gone haywire. I have terrible adult acne now! Anyone else experiencing this. Something i can do? How are you all doing? X

I also want to shout this out - i have lost 75 pounds! How crazy is that! Even more crazy is that it couldve been more. If only i can get myself exercising. This is a real problem. My circumstances of where i am living and working hours is as such that it is difficult to get to a gym and it is not safe to walk in my area. Frustrated! And what with my skin breakin out terribly it leaves me quite in the dumps. Any advice?

Hi I am 4 months post up and this past 6 weeks my skin has gotten worse and worse. I never had perfect skin, but it is totally out of control now. Anyone experienced this?? It is as if it has something to do with having this op. I am 30 years old. This is so upsetting and embaressing!

i think i had dumping. not sure because I've never had it before. but i was feeling terrible!! had to go lie down. felt very very dizzy and nauseous and just wanted to die really. what did i do? i had a piece of carrot cake. with a few sips of coffee, can you imagine that! taught this little miss her lesson. NEVER AGAIN!

What to do??? I am so sick! It started with what i thought was regular flu and now i am running for the toilet every now and then and painful! Have any of you had the stomach bug after surgery? What meds could you take? I don't want to go to the pharmacy as most people in South Africa are extremely uneducated about weight loss surgery and they will probably give something that is bad for my pouch and not even realise it. That is why i much rather ask your advice. If you have names available, can you perhaps also state the main ingredient? Cause i have found that all your meds have different names here in South Africa oi and it frustrates me when I read about something on here and nope, not available in my country! Please if you dont mind. Otherwise any home remedy. As i am terribly sick with fever and tummy running and i am taking no meds whatsoever, really suffering ;-(

Skim milk is good. According to my doc and nut i should have 500 mils a day! But i was lactose intolerant even before the op so i just dont drink it. She flipped about it, but i cannot drink milk so no. The calcium in there is good for you also the added protein. Just stay away from full cream milk as that is too high in fat. What is Pepto? Is that like tummy meds in a powder and you ahould mix with water? But instead your mom used jello? Cause that is a great idea! I got something here now called Smecta. It's a powder that I have to mix with water but truly tastes offensive.

Oh my goodness Cherry! I am glad it has passed for you! I am deadly sick. Every 15 mins i get the most terrible cramps. It is truly ghastly. And the runny tummy ;-( I've had stomach flu before in my life, but it never felt as horrible as this. What did you do to ease the pain? Of course at the moment i am not getting any of my supplements in. Of course scarcely eating. This is really crap!!! I wonder what causes it. And why this trend. And whether it is something we should worry about. I really think they should warn patients about this beforehand. Just so one knows. Jeez. I am so moody and grumpy and this stage! Just wish it could all go away!

Plus i had extreme stress at work and now my pouch area is burning like it has an ulcer. I am hoping it is just the effect of the meds and will hopefully go away. Anyway, weighed myself this morning, and i am officially 51 pounds lighter from my highest weight!! The most weight I've ever lost

Hahhaa Jen i an totally in the woods here i read of awesome stuff like unjury Protein foods and shakes nope none if that. Tylenol for pain? Nope none of that! Quite a struggle! Buy Ive managed up until now. 51 pounds down and 2 months preop. Just this damn stomach bug!! But good idea about the toast. That might work yes! Forgot about that. Used to have that preop life when i got the stomach bug, but havent thought of it as i rarely eat bread. Going to give it a try now thanks!

I too had leg pain in my right leg after surgery. Fir a few weeks. The Dr wasnt worried at all. He says it happens. Someone else also told me it happens when youre under and they strap you too tightly or something like that, damaging a nerve.

Hi losers Pleeeaase help me! I am 2 months out and my weightloss has become very slow. Please share with me what you are eating on a daily basis that you know really gives your weightloss a shift in gear? I am very bad with trying to figure out what to eat. Perhaps i eat too little. And tend to eat the same thing over and again. Please share your old faithfulls you come back to again and again and so all of us can get new fresh ideas from each other and give the scale a kick in the butt! Thanks
