I took a week and a couple days off (surgery was Thursday the 30th) and I go back Monday. I feel ok and think I'll be fine. I'm only worried about getting tired. I work at Wells Fargo as a loan processor and we are very busy in doing refinances but all my work is done at my desk so it's all physically easy. It can be tense so like I said just worried about getting really tired.

Haven't tried it yet. Needed to get it cold first- will probably try it today. I'll let you know.

You will be fine! The anesthesia really wasn't bad-I just slept nearly all that day. Good luck tomorrow.

You drinking the premier Protein premade shakes? My doctor actually recommended these. They served me one in the hospital too- 11 oz and 30 grams of protein. So my doctor says they are fine. I am so tired of the chocolate though I could scream. Bought some new shakes today at Walmart- eas and Atkins both vanilla. No more chocolate for now. I need to go back up costco and get vanilla premier shakes.

I saw mine at informational seminar as he led it. The. I saw him at my first meeting at his office and then the morning of surgery. So 3 times total but only 2 times was it a personal meeting and that includes the day of surgery. Had meetings with other of his staff of course and any questions I had I asked my coordinator.

You'll do great! The surgery really isn't very painful at all. Just get you some gas ex! Good luck!

I'm 4 days post op. I was freaking out this time last week. You will be fine though. So far it's going really well. I'll be saving you a seat on the losers bench!

Mine was may 30th and I'm doing well. No complications and came home next day. Apart from protein drinks I'm tolerating cream soups well. Walking is getting easier. Can even sleep on my side a bit which is helping with the gas. And speaking of sleeping.... Omg I'm sleeping more hours a day than I'm awake. I know my body needs it but I can't remember sleeping this much in my life.

I'm on the pill as I have been for years because of my PCOS. If I'm off it I will bleed for weeks to months at one time and its a lot of blood. I would get light headed from it. I'm not worried about it beyond the controlling of my period as I have been single for a while. I haven't had sex in a little over a year and not looking for a man now either. Just focusing on myself and getting to where I want to be in my life. Once that's sorted I might try dating again.

Yes this is why I couldn't use it. I started my job this past December so for the time off I'm using my vacation time and nearly using all of it sadly. After I return to work next Monday (the 10th) I'll only have like 3 days of vacation left. It's worth it though.

I'm able to take them immediately as long as they are smaller than an m&m. They even gave me some small one in hospital too. I came from Friday and have been taking small pills or cutting small ones down.

Yes I would like to have answer to this too. I had surgery same date as poster and its driving me crazy. I have passed some gas but it just keeps coming. It's really bothering me that I feel the need to burp but can't since it is really painful when I try.

I am 3 days post op and haven't weighed myself yet as our scale doesn't go high enough. When doctor weighed me I was 377. I'm doing well so far after surgery. Just taking it easy and trying to heal. Doing ok with protein intake and walking around better.

Go back in 2 days? No way honey. I had mine Thursday and so that would be like me going in tomorrow! Ain't going to happen. I still walk very slow and careful and kind of hunched over. I am so tired I'm sleeping nearly around the clock. You will need more time than that. I'm taking all this week off and will go back June 10th and I'm worried that won't be enough time. Luckily I do have a desk job and do nothing but sit.

Had my surgery yesterday. Just got home. In a lot of pain today- yesterday wasn't bad. Just took some pain killers and nausea meds. Hoping I can get some rest now. So happy I didn't have a drain!

Not necessarily. My doctor said 95% of his patients go home next day. I'm not sure why he does this. It didn't bother me when he told me before but that was before I knew what this feels like. I've taken some good pain meds and drank most of a Protein shake. About to get some more sleep.
