Hello there, I am new here, but am 4 months into this journey of living with gastric bypass. I had my surgery on Dec. 20th, 2012 with Dr. Castro at Methodist Dallas. It has been a great experience so far! I am down 63 pounds and counting. My surgery was a revision from a very old type of band called a Molina band( named after the doctor that placed them) I have had no complications so far. I do battle head hunger more than I care too, but he didn't operate on my mind!!!! I have attended a couple of face to face support meetings, but am looking for as much support as possible to make this journey work for me! I am looking forward to hanging out here and learning from others! Mickeysfan
