I am also 6 months out and I struggle everyday! My weight goes up and down due to fluid! I work 2 jobs so it is very hars not to eat stuff that u can just grab and run with! My weight has stayed around 162-165 for over a month and that isn't helping my mind set any! Only 22lbs to my personal goal is met!! It seems far away when the scale has been on a hold for this long! I use dove and olay and keeping skins mositure is what you are trying for to keep the elasticity of the skin. It is working for me so I will keep rubbing down in it! I know I will have a little skin but I can live with that! Hw 256 sw 233 dos 12/11/12 cw 162 pg 135 drg 120

I have been stalled for over a month! I have been staying between 165-162lbs. I get all my protien and my labs were great at my 6 month check up. But I am getting very discouraged with this stall! I don't have a lot of skin so far! My dr told me to lotion up 1st thing in the morning, mid day and at night before bed. Also said NO TANNING BEDS! I have followed it and I have some on my arms but everything else seems to be coming together! Hw 256 sw 233 dos 12/11/12 cw 162 pg 135 drg 120

Had my 6 month check up! My Dr said I was doing great and ahead of schedule which was a surprise for me because I thought I was behind cause of all my stalls! Labs seems fine but B12 and vit d was high. He said all the stalls could be from my body trying to catch up. I fluctuate 5lbs due to fluid build up. Off all my meds I took befote the surgery except my fluid pill every once in awhile. My kids and husband say I am such a happier person now and wabting to go and do more stuff with them. Even though my husband is jealous of the looks I'm getting now. Shoot I didn't even notice I was getting them. Lol I have lost some friends because I am not the "fat friend" anymore. My daughter said to me the other day "Wow Mom your teeth are so white and pretty" "What did you do to them?" I laughed and told her nothing. I just smile more now and no one ever noticed my smile before I guess! I am so thankful yo have had this surgery and this site with all of you! Just do what they tell you and if u feel like u r getting on go back to liquids! Once I got oassed the 5th month I am good and can eat better now!

I had rny because if anything ever happens in the future it can always be reversed! With the sleeve they remove the stomach that they take off. With rny it still has a job so if anything ever goes wrong in can be reversed! Just the safe way to go for myself!
