I understand what you mean. I have only just begun to be tempted by foods I haven't had since per-surgery. When I spoke to my doctor at the 6month checkup, I told him I was starting to get hungry more often, especially at night, which may cause me to snack. He said to eat more protein, yogurt, etc. like you, I've been living on yogurt and the mostly forbidden food, cheese. Heading to my relatives on Thursday, facing that Mac and cheese, deep fried turkey and smothered green beans, I'm getting a little nervous. I'll be thinking about you, Alaina, because you are a very strong person, and I know we can do this!

    What ya eating tonight?

Went to Chipotle last nite, it was amazing! I get the bowl, add meat, double black beans, no rice, lettuce, peppers, onions, mild salsa, a little bit of corn salsa. It will last for days!
  3. So, I'm curious about the leggings, do you wear them often? I'm trying to wear spanx and other things to keep in the extra stuff! I was a 2x-3x before and I'm having some issues with the extra jiggly parts!

Congratulations! I agree with Dori, jewelry, a piece that you can continue to wear. If I was a tattooed person, I would say Tattoo! LOL! I'm thinking about getting one on my shoulder or back that keeps shrinking. ????

    He's adorable! Congratulations!
  10. I can only speak for me, since I'm 48, I'm sure this was coming later, but they are hanging down and are flat! I rarely go without a bra now, even to bed! Since they were mostly fat, and the fat is now gone, I guess that's what I'll have. Trying to workout at the gym to firm them up, with the rest of me that's "going south".
  11. I love it when someone says that! I don't want to feel like I'm the only one who misses the boobs..... I was at the gym, today for Zumba and one of the guys was like, "you've really lost weight....everywhere!" I didn't know whether to say thanks, or roll my eyes! LOL.

Looking great! I don't have twins, but I have identical twin sisters, they were the "divorce" babies from my parents! I was a senior in high school, and my brother was a freshman! We were horrified, because my parents didn't tell us, we had to hear it from a neighbor. Now, they are 31, and we are close, despite the fact that I'm old enough to be their mom!

How different will the sleeve be? One of my coworkers has asked me a million questions since my surgery and she's scheduled for Dc. 23, so she will be out during our school break. She wanted to lose about 60-70 pounds, she said, so the sleeve was recommended.

Little miracles! You are sooooo blessed. Alaina take care of yourself.
  17. Does anyone feel weird when people say, "You look amazing!" I think wow, did I really look that bad before, or is it such a drastic change, they are trying to get used to the new me? I still see the psychologist so I can try to deal with being a 26/28 in my head and living now in the size 16 body. She said people were comfortable with what I looked like before and now I'm asking them to change how they "see" me and they might not accept it.

Hey, I can't imagine what you're going through right now. Just know you are loved and cared for, you're amazing and have been such an inspiration to me. If you are absent from here for a bit, we'll understand, just come back! Love, prayers and hugs.....sending them all your way.
