It wasn't that bad. My surgeon seems to have a thing for them. I had one before I left the hospital.

Ohhh, I have some joico and I hate it! It made my hair dry! I have the purple stuff that supposedly keeps you from being brassy and the kpak stuff. I do LOVE the K-Pak straightening Iron. It's pretty amazing. I had to replace it once already though.

4.1.13, and that's why I'm not losing it yet. I will though, I'm sure.
-
:sigh: I had to use suppositories. Gasx on one end and the other on the other. It worked though!

Bedhead Resurrection. My mister is a barber so I get to shop at the salon houses. I love it. I'm not losing my hair yet, so I don't know if it helps with that. Mine is chemically damaged right now.

Agreed. Call your surgeon. I have regular BMs now...but have to use stool softener.

pfft, sounds like your coworker was being a bi%%h. She knows the trials you've gone through and needed to feel better by making you feel bad. It happens. Next time just be like, OMG. I was JUST thinking the same about you! Or ignore it. You know you haven't gained and you said she HAS. Jealousy.

Ugh tho, your surgery wasn't that long ago. How can you possibly get that many calories in?! Maybe...I don't know. -
Nope. No blue ice chips. No drain bag....I don't know how he did a leak test. Is nausea normal? Do ya'll have it? Today has been my first VERY bad day.
-
I didn't have a leak test or a swallow test. It knd of freaks me out when others mention it. I had my first major nausea. I ate an egg with cheese. Just 3 bites and knew it was bad. Didn't throw it all up...but it was. Bad. I'm having problems with protein too. I'm trying not to get...I don't know
-
Good gravy no. Borrow the fit test from insanity or try to find it online before you waste your money. I tried it before surgery and almost died. My husband, a normal sized fit guy, couldn't do it either. P90x is way more achievable and a few of the other beach body workouts.

Oops sorry double post

Okay, my protein shakes now make me nauseous.I didn't even finish this one. I'm sure I didn't hit all my protein. I just can't do it. I can't. So sweet and disgusting. Ugh. I have to find something else. I don't like unjury chicken either. sigh

There isn't an answer to that. Either your skin is elastic or it's not. Ask your surgeon what he thinks. I know I'll need an arm and boob job. My arms already feel like Jello and that skin isn't bouncing back--I don't think. But yeah, your age could help, genetics could help. But skin only stretches so far and comes back. If you stretched it past the point of no return it will turn into loose skin. It's not just people that have WLS that have it. If you rally really hard and lose all that weight, you'd have it if your skin was past it's point too. But really, no way was I getting back to a size 10 on my own. So I wouldn't have had to deal with it. Now I might have to. I REALLY HOPE I DO. And honestly, would you rather have loose skin you can tuck in a girdle or fat filled skin? You still have the same amount.

I had 1 oz of small curd cottage cheese, mashed and well chewed. I almost at the whole thing. I haven't been hungry since surgery and find the cooking smells in the house make me sick. -
right after surgery?

I didn't have to pay the full amount, but my insurance only covered 4k. So I took out my student loans for the full year and paid 12k out of pocket. Mine was around 16k and I'm in Arkansas.

So, maybe I've been super bad. I'm not sure. My hospital gave me apple juice and it wasn't diluted. So I've not been diluting it since I had no issues and it's super yummy. I drank 8 oz of it this morning. I'm not meeting calorie requirements yet...so I thought why not. But now reading through my doctors instructions and searching the internet...all the sites say to dilute it. Um, have I done something bad. Is there a reason I have to dilute? I'll start...I just figured it had to be okay...you know since the RNs on a Bariatric floor gave it to me. Then again, one of my nurses really sucked. So who knows? I don't notice any nausea or upset stomach after the juice. What's the point of diluting?

Mister found some at walmart. Our walgreens didn't carry it! I feel MUCH better now. I chewed two and sipped water. I think it's okay. This new pouch takes some getting used to. That soup was still super good. -
Thank you all SO MUCH for responding. I've been stressed out about this for 11 days now. I make little tic marks on paper for each ounce I drink. Then I count them. It doesn't hurt to drink...I'm just going to sip and hope that within a few weeks it gets better. I'll talk to my surgeon at the post op appointment

I felt anxious just reading that.

Blah, has anyone felt full and bloated for HOURS after eating? I'm worried something is stuck but water is going down. I don't know. What do we do for that?
