Stomach sounds after being constipated a good thing or no? Does it mean stuff is moving around in there now?

Thanks. I had to manually disimpact myself as well. So today not so bad..now im feeling as if a laxative will work....

Yes i had to drink that stuff before surgery...it does work, but im not sure if its too late for that for me :/ think im gonna try suppository. ...n pray it works.

Any pureed food ideas out there? My doc said I didn't need to puree everything i eat, but make sure its smooth consistency...

Im 5 days post op and so tired of this liquid diet..Well not so much the broth..i do kinda look forward to that, but just the constant sipping and drinking of water/crystal light ugh! I just cant wait until i can move on to stage 2 pureed diet....Oh and is it just me or does anyone else feel or felt bigger after surgery? It could just be in my head but i feel bigger than before i went in for surgery. Hmmmm ???? Sorry just kind of venting, lol I know I just gotta get over it and go with the flow..

It sure does say whey in the ingredients smh..Oops. I guess i was used to seeing it in huge letters on the front 100% WHEY PROTEIN ...lol

Today makes 2 weeks post op for me. Im so excited that ive been seeing results! My highest weight was 333lbs, Im now down to 299lbs! Im FINALLY under 300lbs I haven't been under 300 since i had my first son 5 yrs ago, so this is exciting. And today i put a pair of jeans on, and man! They are way to big now! I know this is just the beginning and i already feel so blessed...blessed that i even got this opportunity to change my life for the better. How are all of you doing who had a July surgery??

I got calcium in pill form, not knowing that the pills are HUGE and i cant swallow them...is there any other way i can try and take them? Like smashing them or something? Or did i just waste 10 dollars on these pills ill never take....help!

Are the calcium chews the calcium citrate too?

Im ten days post op, and realized I need different powder because the one I bought makes me extremely sick. Thing is, I have to go without it until I get my check four days away! Im trying to eat as much protein as I can, but i know its not near enough.. I've also been getting sharp pains in my head randomly..I don't feel like I can drink enough during the day either...im taking my vitamins like im supposed to...I guess im starting to feel kinda overwhelmed or something..I don't think im doing anything right. Ugh.

So tomorrow I start taking my Vitamins...only thing im not sure when to take them. Can somebody give me an idea of how i should take the vitamins throughout the day? When do you take yours? 1 week post op.

Hang in there! Im just a week post op exactly..It was hard for me to pee as well and was threatened with the catheter lol..i just kept on sipping! Sip sip sip!
