I had mine taken out 10 years ago. It was "sluggish" and they thought it was the root of all my acid reflex problems... Not sure what it would have been like for me now. It's not that bad what I can remember. You gone thru RNY. This should be a breeze. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

I totally get this. Someone at work today was talking about all the food he had waiting a home when he gets off... Cause he girlfriend was cooking and I was like, "if I had an appetite that might actually sound good!" But I don't. There are times when I am "hungry" but I think that is more in my head cause I haven't eaten in a while. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Do I need to make a trip to your area and set this woman straight in her ignorance? Totally will for you. I hate that people who have not had a loved one or have not gone through the experience seem to think they can voice there opinion on your life! Either support it or don't... But keep the negative comment to yourself nasty people! You have tons of support here! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Had my 3 month follow up today! Super positive! CW is 242.6. Loss since surgery that is 54 lbs. waist is down 10 inches! And BMI is down as well! Looking at the numbers I am totally shocked and excited! My doctor says I am exactly where I need to be in weight loss! They want patients 3 months out to be 25-30% down to their goal and I am killing it! I love my weight management doctor! He is so sweet and positive! Thanks for letting me share! So I haven't posted in awhile, and haven't been here in a few days. My name is Juliana, I am 28 and live in Pensacola, FL. Born in New Orleans! I have been married 5 years and we have a beautiful 4 year old. she was born exactly 10 months from our wedding day. yes she is my honeymoon baby! I work retail for Lowe's and enjoy it very much. I am a certified VPK teacher, but as I make more money doing retail I decided to go back to that... I reached my highest weight last year at 298, and was astounded by the fact that I had let myself do so. But I decided that it was time to do something for me. So in October I began the journey and had surgery by April 4th! Now I am at 246 9 weeks out. And am adapting well. Though my marriage has hit a rocky patch right now, after finding some information out. (No need to get deep into that, heart ache)! I know things can work out. My parents are amazing and helped me with my surgery coat up front! As they have both had it I look at them as role models for me. I am sure there is more to my life but that is all for now. They want you to sip because taking big gulps can make you swallow air pockets... This can cause discomfort and blotting! Take it at what makes you feel comfortable. Just be aware of your body. And what makes you hurt. I find I can do more now, then just those tiny sips too. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
