Great news from the surgeon today! I have lost 59% of my excess weight! Blood pressure is good. I will most likely be able to drop the half pill I am taking soon. Yay!!!!

Good Morning my June friends! I want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind and encouraging words over the last six months. I am in a fb group where people cannot feel as free to post when they are concerned or they have eaten something they shouldn't have eaten, without someone being ugly to them. You guys have been the most amazing support group a girl could ask for! I look forward to many more months together as we celebrate our journey together. Hugs!

Reading all these posts makes me nervous for my 6 month appointment next week. Don't get me wrong... I feel great! I am nervous that my surgeon may say I haven't lost enough. Everyone on this June group seems to have lost so much more than I have. I am around 70 pounds lost. Should I be at 100 already? Again... So nervous!

Walking around Costco this afternoon. They were sampling pancakes. I had a momentary lapse if judgement thinking that one bite wouldn't hurt me. So very wrong! Stomach is hurting really bad now. No more pancakes for me!!!

I am thankful for so many things this year, it will be hard to narrow them down to 5. I will give it a try. 1) I am thankful that I have been the recipient of the most amazing man's love and support for the last 23 years. 2) I am thankful for the most incredible friends and family! Very thankful for my Online friends....I could not have made it these last 5 months without the support you guys have given! 3) I am thankful that I have taken a step in the right direction for my health. 4) I am most thankful for the love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him- I am nothing! 5) so grateful that I was born in the US, where I can live free without the fear that many in other countries live with daily.

Oh my goodness! I have been going crazy trying to find you all. My app stopped working and somehow I missed that everything was changing! I feel such relief seeing familiar names on the forum.
