What ya eating tonight?
Mel3620 replied to OleHippieGal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I added some skim milk to the Greek yogurt and stirred it to death. It made it much thinner and I was able to eat it. -
I agree. I hope it gets easier.

I have been doing really well with my eating up until Wednesday. It seems like every time I eat now I feel yucky. It doesn't come back up, but I do feel nausea. I know I am not eating enough. Sometimes it hurts in my back after eating, too. My gastric bypass was June 4th. Anyone feel like this after eating? I am thinking I will call my doctor when I get back in town.

I am not supposed to eat the skins if fruit for 3 months, but I would think that blending them would be okay.

Anyone had the PB2?

I will have to try it. I am not supposed to have peanut butter, but that sounds delicious.

When I made Popsicles the powder all settled in bottom. Not very tasty.

True. My doctor listens and responds as well. Everything has gone so a Monthly for me that I keep wondering when the other show will drop.

I hope they get it fixed quickly.

Make sure you are getting enough water. It sounds like you could be dehydrated.

Great job! That gives me hope!! I know it will come off. I really think my problem is that I am not eating and drinking enough. I had a couple of times of eating too much, and now I am afraid to overeat. I need to get myself to eating 6 tiny meals a day. I am also having trouble getting all of my calcium in because I can't take it all at once. I am a work in progress!!!

I stalled for a full week during my 2nd week post op. After my third week I am down 5 pounds. It will happen. Try not to get too frustrated. (Easier said than done, I know)

I am making a protein packed meat loaf tonight! I sure hope my family enjoys it!

It is on my NUT's list of vitamins that I have to take everyday.

I am not supposed to have peanut butter yet. I think I can add it at 3 months post op.

Those foods are soft so you can most likely hold a little more of them. Real foods like chicken will be much less to fill you up.

Finally!!! After nearly 8 days my scale has moved!!! I lost 5 pounds last week! I will take it! Just needed to share with people who would really understand the joy I feel right now after a stall so soon after surgery.

Where did you find it? I am 4 weeks post op and so sick of protein shakes. Maybe I just need something different.
