I just found out I will be drinking 1/8 a cup of clear juice mixed with 1/8 a cup of water three times a day just to keep blood sugar levels from going bonkers.

I received a call from the surgery scheduler today and they switched my date again. Only this time they moved me up a week!!! I am now set for July 23rd!

Alright fellow July folk our month starts tomorrow! We have all been on this journey for months and our new lives will begin in the next few days. I am sure this will be a tough and trying couple of weeks but we will start having our own NSVs before we know it. Please remember not one of us needs to fight this battle on their own. Use this board to rant, brag, complain, and ask questions. July is going to be great!!!

I was reading my pre surgery packet and it says till wake up with a catheter in. So I make a not so brilliant move and YouTube catheter ..... HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! I thought I was going to pass out and I still feel sick. I have cleaned many deer, ducks, and other critters without getting squiemish, but this about did me in. When I go into my pre-op appointment I am going to beg my surgeon to have it put in after I am out and removed right before I wake up. I have watched the RNY surgery multiple times on youtube but I may never be able to go back to that site again.

That would be fun. I dont have my surgery until July 30th so I will make you all look skinny.

I am currently in Venetia but most likely will be moving to Bethal Park later this summer.

Yeah, I am not to stressed on it... I am still pre op so I know it will be different soon. I hope I don't end up disliking pickles though ... my five your old daughter and I like making home aid pickles
