it is ok ... I am traveling for work and I feel pretty tired.. not hungry at all and no headache tonight so all is good. How about you?

Thank you all! I am so relieved and excited. I was worried they would stall too which would have bummed me out.

I am using a powder shake. It is not great but I don't have to gag it down so no complaints.

I tried to focus on goals from my nutritionist. I have gone from drinking 8 cups of coffee a day plus lots of diet soda down to drinking no carbonated, calories, or caffeine. I also do not drink with meals and I make sure my meal takes 20-30 minutes to eat. I have lost a little weight but not a ton pre-op but I am ready for life post surgery which is what my doc's goal was.

How are the July post op'ers doing today?

i went to the surgeon's office before my PCP appointment. While I was talking to the receptionist my phone rang and it was the scheduler. Everything the insurance needed was sent over yesterday. They advised they will call every day until they get confirmation on approval.Day two of the diet is going well. My head hurts but i am not hungry at all which isweird i just had to force myself to have shake #2. One more to go. How is your day going?

if you can survive having to pass up Giordano's you can survive anything!!! Keep it up you are almost there.

What does your diet consist of? I started mine today too and my head is hurting. Three protein drinks and lots of water are kicking my booty. Only 13 more days to go!

We will have a good crew hitting the losers bench that day!!! My head is thumping on day one of liquids but I know it only gets better from here.

The way it sounded it was basic stuff like psych clearance, nutritionist's notes. I have a PCP appointment tomorrow in the same building as my surgeon. I am going to stop in to make sure they have sent over the info.

No more than 10lbs for 5 weeks. This will be tough my 5 year old girl is a cuddler

I go in for my final PCP and blood work tomorrow. Next week is my final appointment with surgeon. It has become sooooo much more real today because I am on day 1 of the 14 day diet.

I received a call from my insurance today and they advised I had been turned down for surgery. They advised they had not received all of my paperwork from the surgery scheduler. I just started my two week diet and my nut told me to stay on it. The frustrating part is I have left two messages for the scheduler but I have not heard from her.

I am your surgery buddy - two weeks. It sounds crazy.

I will not miss sitting on the side of the pool while my 5 year old girl asks me to swim... next year I am taking her to a water park

Countrygirl you only have a one day liquid diet? That is great. I get two weeks of protein drinks because I have a fatty liver I guess. I am actually excited about starting the diet because it means my time will be here soon.
