The truth is its not easy and who knows that woman's agenda do your home work and research and follow what you feel is right. No one can make you decisions for you and certainly not someone you don't know and who doesn't know you. People can be rude and down right mean. Don't get me wrong this is not easy but it will and should show you what you are made of. We have your back. DO YOU! If you ever need positive comments come on here that's what its about

I thought dumping syndrome was when you eat to much or eat fatty and sugary things? I think you would have dumping and/or could bust your pouch. That's what I was told. I did cheat a little before my surgery but I am too afraid of the consequences if I do that now even a little. I am a believer I don't need to be that sick or worse to take this serious. I say its over now just don't do it again especially after the surgery. Everyone slips just don't keep it going. Hang tight. It will be worth it.

That is so rude and that person does not know what they are talking about. I just got mine 3/21/13 and there has not been one thing easy or lazy about it. There is physical and mental hard work ,some real soul searching and a willingness to do a lot of things that a lazy person would never consider. I hate when people feel its there place to comment on stuff that is none of their business. My advice is do what you have to do for you . Good luck and know we are all hear to listen

Have to get this water in me slowly is not easy. I have got to crush and take medication (A lot of it) . I got to figure out how to get it done because its all important for my health and I don't want complications. Feel boated and full. Finally got to use the bathroom last night. Worried about the pouch being too full and getting dehydrated. I don't want to end up in hospital

I just had surgery Thursday 3/21/13. Home today trying to get medication and water and shake routine together. NOT EASY I am afraid I am not going to do something right and I'm looking a little nervous. Unless there is someone going with it with you face it you are alone. THEY CAN EAT NORMALY.

I am 2 days out from surgery I go home today this is by no means easy but I can do this. I have come too far not to nail this.

I did that too and have had to start anew a few times I did not eat sweets but I ate a banana and a little lean meat. I only lost 5 or 6 pounds I don't know if its good or bad

I am 8 days away ! I had a IVC implant yesterday and have been on optifast 2 weeks and only last 5 pounds. Anyone know id that's normal? I am excited also ready to go!
