11 days post op and this is the first time I've puked. Ughh! That was about as much fun as a root canal. How the heck is it that I ate the same thing yesterday, and today the artist formerly known as stomach says "hell no!"?

Leticia! Glad you're doing better. I personally love your Vicodin typos You make those kids help you out and don't over do it.

Your body is still recovering. Sometimes I just think I'm hungry, but it's mostly just my brain not my body. Keep doing what you're doing. I know about day 5 or 6 post op for me I felt like that too. Massive headache etc...but the next day I was fine. Hope you feel better soon.

Hmmm... Define "happy". There's a whole lot of variations on normal, so I'd be willing to bet you're probably ok. Are you feeling bad? Congrats on the gas! It's the little things

Well I made the worlds tiniest egg white and cheese omelet and ate a little over half of it. I also made some chocolate protein pudding...not too shabby. I've gotten in about 30 grams of protein today, but now I'm behind on water. What an insane balancing act.

I just take mine whole one at a time. My doc told me not to crush them unless I had any problems, and so far so good. I take 3 pills every morning. One is small, but the other 2 are about the size of a Tylenol. If you have to crush them, sugar free pudding is the way to go.

Bwaahhhaaa! We did it the night before and I managed well. 9 days post op and we just did it again. Boys! (big giant eye roll).

Glad your feeling better...the first couple of days are real ass biters.

Ha! Leticia you crack me up! I had the "shits" for like 3 or 4 hours after my bottle of mag citrate. It was not fun. I can only assume you'll be reading this on the potty lol! Best wishes tomorrow. I'm excited for you

I pooped 2 days after surgery. I had diarrhea for a couple of days. Now just once every 1 or 2 days and fairly normal... well not much going in so not much coming out. My doctor said some people can go a week or so and it's fine. Everyone's different. It depends on how you feel. Wow! That's the most I've ever discussed poo

I'm doing pretty good Shanny. I'm 8 days out still on Clear liquids. I have minimal to no pain and have been walking 1 or 2 miles a day for the last 4 days....mostly out of boredom. I had a monster headache yesterday, but it's better today. I have follow up appointment tomorrow so I will finally get to have some pudding and Protein shakes etc. I have no idea why my doc does clear liquids so long. I still haven't had any actual hunger...just mentally hungry. I'm glad your doing well.

My only advice is to do your research and know exactly what to expect and you will do great. If anyone ever tells you that having weight loss surgery is "the easy way out" you can smack them

Leticia, before my surgery I was so damned hungry I had to keep reminding myself that I made the decision to have this surgery when I was not starving and when I was in my right mind, and for perfectly legitimate reasons. You are going to do great...just keep reminding yourself how much better things will be in just a week. I'll be thinking about you, and looking forward to following your progress. We can do this

I think it would drive me nuts. I probably would have picked mine off by now. Your surgery was a week before mine and my steri strips are almost all off and it's healed underneath so I bet yours are going to be fine.

Ha! I know exactly what you mean. I can already tell a difference. My skin is even clearer since I haven't eaten any crap. Well haven't eaten anything at all since the 11th of March. I'm super whiney about the clear liquids.
